- It's one of the most historic motocross tracks on earth and every year attracts thousands of riders - from world and AMA champions to local heroes.
With every bike racing made in the last millennium, there are everything from genuine factory two-strokes and four-strokes to home-made specials.
Team USA's Mike Brown, Ivan Tedesco, Doug Dubach and John Dowd took on some great names like ex-world champion Steve Ramon and MX of Nations winners Ken De Dycker and Kurt Nicoll, as well as Gordon Crockard in the team races.
And also on track were former world champions Graham Noyce and Dave Thorpe, with former pro riders like Andre Vromans, Mervyn Anstie, Warren Edwards, Michele Fanton, Kurt Ljunqvist, Jan Geboers, Mark Eastwood, Nev Bradshaw, Phil Mercer, Tom Church and a cast of almost 1000.

I feel the same. I wonder what that would cost coming from the states? Man that's got to be expensive! I wish they had tracks like that here. The only race i know of here is at red bud in Michigan once a year called the grass race.
@@matthewlewis9996 Yeah we need some here in the States! Red Bud is a strike for me. I'm 20 minutes from Hangtown. Man the sound of a swarm of bees :)
@@198moto yeah, i used to go to nationals all the time in the 90s at Redbud. Started going when i was in high school and larocco was still racing. Biggest party I've ever been to. Would stay the 3 day's. Bottle rocket war's. Burning each others tents down😂. Since it's always on 4th of july weekend, it sounded and looked like a war zone!😆. That was before they had the jail installed on grounds😣. It's fairly tame now compared to what it used to be. Your right, it did sound like a giant swarm of bee's
Can anyone recommend a good home for Danny Magoo Chandler's winning jersey from the ' MXDN? I'm the original owner and have kept it in a proper display case all these years.
