I've had my ears tested a few times over the years and they tell me that my hearing is just as good as a teenager. Just sucks that I have tinnitus to go with it.

I actually got goosebumps when it happened, as I was in shock when I clicked that I've heard actual silence for those split 3 seconds. The video then ended at this frequency and as soon as it stopped my tinitus returned. It worked a little bit the second time and I got the silence again. Now it's just constant loud ringing in both ears. It's draining me slowly 🤦♀️help.

I could feel my entire body vibrating in there when I was on a concrete floor. I get angry about this knowing I’ll never hear the same again.
You might be able to get it back if you take care of your ears. I was also in a loud party and at 24 I couldnt hear above 16.5k now at 25 i can almost hear up to 18k

Are you sure you headphones can handle it ? Some headphones "say" they can do up to 25kHz.. and they lie... I can hear up to 25kHz And when i picked GOOD headphones i could hear it there. (i can hear animal noise repellents too sadly...)

Can hear at max volume. I'm a musician that likes to listen to music way to loud cause of only using budget earbuds and headphones that had a lot of sound leakage thus low quality sound. Finally invested in some ANC headphones so I don't have to listen to music at a loud volume anymore when in noisy environments.
According to audiogram threshold is vertically rises from this frequency. So if you can hear this very easliy you might have some small ear canal or something

I’m 16 and i can only hear up to 15k too so don’t worry about it. I don’t even have ear damage.

LOL. CZcams applies low-pass filter exactly at 16kHz. All you can hear are the low harmonics :)
