Its taken me watching each of these tutorials multiple times over the last few months, but I went from not using data packs and basic commands to creating a complex temperature-tracking system involving scoreboards and predicates working together. exactly, i've been using 2 commands for this for years (first setting the score to 0 and then every entity adding 1 to it)

Awesome, I've been thinking about making a force choke thing from Star Wars, and this is exactly what I need to store the coordinates of a player so they can't move in the air. I've looked at other execute store command tutorials but they're all so dull and monotone.

hey, I would love to share something with u. If u go to settings, then controls, and change the placing block button to any letter in ur keyboard, u begin placing blocks stupidly fast. There are some crazy features behind that. Its not a constant thing (I think), and it has to be the last button on the keyboard to be pressed. I really appreciate the lookthrough of the command, but I think some more real-life examples would really help people understand how to use this in their own worlds. There are other videos that show exactly *how* to use it, and I only had to watch one extra video to figure it out, but I thought that there was a decent chance youâd read this, and maybe it might help. Just an idea, but maybe you can make a series. Where in you step by step create a custom map. Like puzzle/adventure map.
That _is_ something I've been thinking about doing. I made a community post saying that I wanna start making some non-tutorial content, and a mapmaking series that is only half tutorial-y is a fun idea that's pretty on brand. Thanks for the suggestion!

Great video your really good at creating a extremely understandable and informative video with a good sense of humor, however Iâm struggling with setting up conditional commands in data packs and getting them to interact itâs repeating commands in data packs. Iâm working on a spider mob for my server and I oiled love some help because your the only channel I can think of that could help me. I specifically want data packs. The specific issue i have included Is i am struggling with a timer for my boss to spawn cobwebs, and the poison sword it drops. The main issue I have is that tick.mcfunction is note working whatsoever. and the code in the json is fine i checked the names of both and it just wont work.

How do you have a conditional command block run if score [player] [objective] changes
like for example I create a condition and type a command to set it to my death count and name it Deaths and do a command block with /execute if score [player name] Deaths (idk what to put here, thats what im asking), and put a conditional command block beside it, and have it do /say You died, or whatever, Im just using that as an example, and, in the first command block, what do I put there, so the conditional command is executed every time I die?
