#UniversalAudio #UADspark #UADplugins - Hudba
The Century tube is among my favorite channel strip. I use it often in vocals and bass. Very easy to understand. Thanks for this tutorial, it gave me the idea to "hit the red" of the VU meter more often.
Doesn't get enough love. Glad to see UA showcasing it more. It's my most used plugin when tracking.
This one's my go to plugin for tone shaping and taming some dynamics. absolutely love it
🔥 walkthrough. one of the best sounding channel strips out
I use this all the time, it’s so quick and easy to get a great sound.
long shot: can you guys make an update to make it black... not a big deal, just a vibe.
at night when i track sometimes it's just too bright, plug-in itself is really great.
thanks.
interesting!! Thanks for the feedback
@@UniversalAudio That's actually a good idea man.
i got this one for free. it sounds amazing honestly. I used it with my old Rode K2, Unison, to make that mic sound viable(which is hard to do) and it did an incredible job of it. i just upgraded and got my Telefunken TF51 in and im running it through a 737 into my twin but im playing around with different combinations for BG vocs and other approaches. this is 100% getting used on my album for something along with the Neve preamp.
Underrated bit of kit.
Slowly became one of my favorite plugins
Nice plugin. I use it to warm up my Moog Grandmother when tracking, it improves an already great sounding synth.
I was surprised at how good this sounded when I tested it out for recording voice overs. Had a warm tone that complemented the voice that was recording through it.
Love this plugin.
Haven't been disappointed with the sound of a UAD plugin yet.
😍
I love that you guys use that Jan Hammer song as the channel's theme tune
Nice bit of kit
That 10k shelf on this thing is beautiful!
🤘🏻
If you already have a UAD plugin, the essentials bundle is on sale right now and is only $1 more than this plugin. It includes:

Still going
Universal audio Brings your old blue logo back ⬅️ thank you
Thank you
Yay! Another toy I absolutely do not need. But will probably buy anyway.
lol
PLEASE HELP. Do you have a video to show how route Apollo USB Heritage for Windows audio to MY SCREEN RECORDER? All I get is EAR MELTING digital noise. I'm thinking its probably the same process for routing to OBS? Please help
warm
Thanks for the great video tutorial! If your guitar or bass amp is at the top of the signal chain, in the Unison Preamp section of the track, how would the Preamp work here, if inserted AFTER the amp sim that came first in the chain? Thanks!
It becomes a "color option" for driving the post amp signal.
@@UniversalAudio Ok, cool, thanks!
Add all Neve and manley stuff to UA Spark please🙏
done!
The full interface wont' show in Ableton. . only a clipped window that you can't resize...
I wonder if you can help me are Channel Strips only meant for non electronic music, as in do they have any use in making Electronic Music? As I only see channel strips getting used with live instruments ect.
They are used for ANY source. The benefit of channelstrips is that the EQ and DYN are in the same plugin GUI.
I have this plugin. It sounds great. My only suggestion is to make a way to change the signal path so the compressor is pre-eq. That would be more logical in my opinion as 99% of the time I compress pre-eq as I’m sure most do.
@@YungBearPH sorry but you’re absolutely incorrect in your assumption. I was a professional engineer and producer for almost 20 years of my life and worked with some of the best producers and engineers in the world. The standard is compression before eq. All professional consoles like Neves, APIs, Tridents, Neotechs, SSLs, etc are set up that way as the default for a reason. They all have the option to put the compressor after the eq if you wish, as that configuration does have its uses, but the more common configuration is compress first then eq so that any eq changes you make don’t effect how hard you hit the compressor. If you want control over the frequencies that trigger the compressor you either use a multibamd compressor or you use the compressors sidechain.
This is correct. Plus the EQ has more of an audible effect after the compressor. If you EQ before the compressorr, the comp fights your changes. @@josephpeccerillo1640
Matt, what would you recommend hardware-wise as an interface? I use Studio One on a PC laptop. I think I need a better interface than this $100 jobber.
Tell us more about your needs (# of inputs, is portability important, # of tracks in a typical mix), stuff like that. Then we can offer better solutions.
Body and sparkle eh? My recordings are more muddy and harsh.
Why don't I see the tube stage on my version ? thanks
Super strange!!!
Do a full uninstall/delete all prefs/reinstall
help.uaudio.com/hc/en-us/articles/360051069691--Mac-UAD-Uninstall-Reinstall-Procedure-?
You can do the same thing with Slate Virtual Mix Rack...LOL...
What's your point? All channel strips are essentially the same if you boil it down. But they differ in sound and function a bit. Pick one that works for you.
What a strange comment 😂
Is this in the UAD Spark package?
Yes!
@@UniversalAudio Fantastic thank you!
Which century do you mean ? No Autogain ?... This seems pretty 80´s...
Auto-gain is for newbies
@@listenfidi means no auto-gain is for grannies ?
Do you guys search for the most irritating vocal clip to use in these examples? 😅 😖
Ahahahahahha you made my day
Omg it’s horrible
Hilarious. I was thinking the same thing. Great plug-in though.
Who tells all these people their singers I mean seriously the only downside of technology accessible all these people think they can sing, and they’re so average they’re gonna waste their life away, thinking they’re singers that are gonna get the masses to pay them. 😂
No Over Sampling for Aliasing...bad Idea.....this where Acustica Audio...destroys you guys...LOL
They have built-in oversampling already, stop being dum.b
We over sample.
I’m afraid of using those plugins if they’re gonna make my songs sound like the one you play. 😂
