Whether I invest in the plugins used or not, I just wanted to say that your channel is one of my absolute favorites - the reason being is that you work on ROCK N ROLL projects, with guitars and bass and stuff. I don't learn nearly as much from the channels that produce hip-hop, dance-y type music, and making only beats and melodies. Great big gratitudes to ya! 🙂

This plugin is probably good for those who like to mix into a “smiley face” eq on the output buss
Tube and tape emulation rocks. It gives me the sound I can remember from the past. Is sound "perfection" that important. I mean I don't want a "messy mix" but a perfect sound to my ears tends to contain some little bits of heavy compression and simple EQ as opposed to hours of making little tiny adjustments that so many producers nowadays seem to want to do. Today's music just sounds...well...too over produced in my mind.
Yeah. A lot of it is overproduced now, and has been for quite a while. It’s always refreshing to hear music that isn’t overly “perfect”. Mic preamps are so clean now, even cheaper mic pres on entry level audio interfaces are fairly transparent which can be great but it’s nice to have some added color/character just to make it more interesting.
