I love that in Battlefied, Snipers actually play like snipers unlike e other series where 360 no scope drop shotting while cycling you weapon while droping from a 17 story building is the norm.

I am going to be honest, I find the ZH-29 empty reload with detachable magazines to be hideous. The krag Jørgensen is really good at hitting headphones even with iron sights

I got to say while I love the Selbstlader 1906 to death, the biggest issue is when trying to do the gold receiver challenge you have to get head-shots on enemy inside of cap zones all in one round, which for a Weapon with only 5 rounds to use at one time and if you have a scope you can't use stripper clips, and the gun takes two shots to the head to kill an enemy at full health with the same ammunition as the Kar98k, is something hard to do. for me at least.
I just subscribed to this channel, i like it and i like the fact that he makes Battlefield content which is my favorite franchise except 2042

I'm surprised you didn't mention the little flick of the leftover brass of the stripper clip on an empty reload for the type 99. That little detail has always tickled a part of my brain almost like an ejector seat from a James Bond movie

@@professormemsclassfun fact: the majority of 5 shot bolt action rifles have the ability to either flick off the stripper clip through bringing the bolt forward or depress slightly further, loosening the clip and therefore allowing it to be flicked away.

I basically never use scopes. I cut my teeth on the Infantry rifles of BF1, and I'll be damned if I'm going to hang back now. And I still don't understand why they made aperture sights suck so badly. Only 2x magnification, so it _should_ be a close range affair, and for that you get a clumsy, cloudy sight that can't even maximise fire rate.
Ultimately, I believe that using close range options as a Recon works for teamplay. Your role of spotting enemies is _much_ more important than anybody you could just pick off with a sniper rifle. Get those flares up!
I absolutely _adored_ the Lee-Enfield in BF1, but the version in V just doesn't _quite_ hit that same itch. I suspect it's because of the no.4's ring sight, and I swear to god the damn thing is subtly misaligned. The Jungle Carbine, however, now that's where it really is. 2x scope with a clear picture and it can cycle while zoomed, all without interfering with the reload? Yes please!
The M.95 was changed significantly from its BF1 incarnation, losing its previously impressive smooth speed and low power in exchange for _higher_ power and a slower, almost sticky bolt. Very odd. I guess it makes sense that the bolt wouldn't actually be that smooth to operate, as the M.95 was notoriously a bit of a bitch to handle. However, they did improve its animations substantially, as BF1 gave it a weird Garand-like automatic ejection for its clip, even while it's on its last round when that clip should have dropped out of the gun already. BFV fixes this by simply removing the ejection entirely, making it so the clip has to be manually pulled out, and it has the correct last-bullet reload.
The ZH-29 is way better with irons and _without_ detachable mags. It's better to limit oneself, you understand.
I love the Arisaka when used with irons, because it behaves remarkably similar to its BF1 incarnation. Very smooth, and some of the best iron sights in the game. It gets shit done.

I’m so glad that my videos have been picked up by the algorithm, it feels like pure dumb luck but I’m so thankful that my efforts are paying off and that I’m getting so many pleasant comments.
You use the RSC with iron sights aggressively. It's not meant to be used with a scope. Using it with iron sights within 40-50 meters it has basically zero recoil, the most ammo capacity of its type, quick reload, and is a 2 shot kill. You get all of the positives with this gun and none of the negatives using it this way. It also has an extremely clean iron sight with its quick fire rate and low recoil makes it very easy to stay on target.
Ah yeah I get that, I just think that the Model 8 (which has the exact same damage model) is better for that range/sights setup since it’s only downside is a slower reload in exchange for a faster fire rate, faster muzzle velocity, and lower recoil. The RSC just feels a bit too much like a BF1 gun.
Your voice and mannerisms remind me of some of the best friends I've met while gaming. Also at one point you mentioned the 6x scope adds scope glare, but I'm pretty sure that 3x scopes on recon rifles (not other classes weapons) have scope glare, just it's less bright

I love the M3, the M1A1 Carbine with a 3X is one of my go to assault weapons so the M3 feels natural.

Regarding the mad minute hand placement, while obviously possible there is little official documentation of training of this style of grip. It is mentioned in some close quarter manuals as a “possible” or alternative way to aim and fire but historically I have yet to see any officially published documentation regarding the use of ring finger shooting as an official method.
Valuable insight, although as I'm sure you know, there's a lot in this game that breaks with realism.

I would love a tierlist for bf1
One of the strongest points of BFV was the versatility of the Recon class. I never liked playing Recon until how they reworked it in V. It was a buttload of fun to actually play as an aggressive Recon for once
I totally agree, diversifying the weapon classes available to the recon/scout class made it more than just a long range sniper.
When I have to play Recon it's the RSC with the Bayonet. Nothing better than finding opposing sniper staring in his scope. Good old bayonet to the chest makes me happy. Also guilty being a sweaty sniper using the ZH when the Conquest match has gone to shit. But normally play MMG, so I'm not like either during the match.

Something to note about the AT rifles, particularly the Pb 39, is that there is a very broken glitch you can do that turns it into a fully auto tank shredder. I’ve destroyed countless tanks and caused many tanker meltdowns doing this. Imagine doing 8-20dmg a shot… at an rpm of however fast you can pull the trigger. Also works against infantry, prepare to get called a hacker by anyone you face lol.
This also works for any bolt action rifle but it’s not as reliable.
I would love to see the tier list for the real life weapons whether it be BFV or BF1 (except the obviously fictional use of the Hellriegal and other experimental weapons). Also just do what you want for content maybe put a ratio of videos of good view and your own personal vids for fun. It be great if those videos can be both good on views and for your own enjoyment.

Using the anti tank rifles in this game, I like to role with the play style I call “the pest”. It’s not the most rewarding personally, but what I like about it is that the style is supposed to irritate the more thicker armored vehicle players, like who the heck is shooting me. It’s something I’ve picked up on as I’ve played BF5 more often than in BF1 with its Tankghewer. Not because in BF1 the tankghewer 1918 was uncommon, but because in BF5, tank players sometimes can’t spot infantry well sometimes and in turn get ambushed easily. Not to mention that tank armor is kinda weaker than in BF1, so by being the pest you’re playing into the frustration of these players. As to how well that strategy works, sometimes it does, but not all the time.
Also totally do Rdr2 and BF1. BfV RDR2 online and BF1 are me and the boys’ playlist of games

Correct, usually bipods are no good for running and gunning. Occasionally though, you can still use them while being aggressive by moving quickly to and from having it deployed.

I personally love the K31/43. I find it just as accurate as any other of the rifles, plus it's nice to not have to worry about zeroing distance

It is accurate when you don’t get High Power Optics. When I have the specialization you can literally see the bullet flying through the enemies I sighted and the blood spurts of it hitting them but dealing no damage. I DO actually really like using the K31/43 as well, but it’s by far the messiest gun in the game.

@@professormemsclasshey prof, the k31/43 high power scope is broken only if you choose quick aim as your first specialisation. if you take flashless propellant instead it works properly. still a shitty bug, but imo not a deal breaker anymore. great gun overall, i use the right side of the specialisation tree anyways to make it a more aggressive build overall. having the option of a straight pull iron sight with a decent fire rate is great for closer ranges.

This isn't really relevant, but although I love Battlefield V's M.95/30 depiction, what I don't get about it is its mid round reload animation. The character presses on the en bloc clip to make it pop up out of the internal magazine, allowing the character to grab and remove it. This WOULD make sense if the gun didn't have the manual clip ejection button, but it does. It's located near the trigger, and is used on the original M.95 in Battlefield 1. It makes no sense (At least, as of my knowledge.) not to use it if you're going to insert a fresh new clip after removing a half spent one. That just makes the reload even slower.
I’m not really sure how that’s supposed to work either, but you’re right that it’s strange since they very obviously animated the use of the clip release button on the Tromboncino.

Well i usually run the bolt actions in any situation (close medium and long range) always with just the irons, and man it's satisfying to get that 300+m headshot with irons

A pretty simple exploit that can turn both at gun into semi auto. Devastating and cheap
I did know about it but elected not to say anything cause I didn't exactly want to encourage it. I was actually using it at 27:10 you can kind of tell because of the characteristic rotation of the reticle that doesn't happen when you fire normally.

ZH-29 has by far one of the most stupid mastery assignments ever created.
ZH-29 Mastery VI needs you to do 10 headshots in an objective area during ONE life or 20 during ONE round... i hope the person who thought this was a good idea can't sleep anymore.
That does sound so so dumb, especially cause headshots don't kill full health enemies, and I'm pretty sure it only counts headshot kills as "headshots" for quests like that.

I didn’t really want to encourage it to be honest. Although to be honest at 27:10 the clip with the collateral kill, I was using the exploit there, even though it didn’t affect that particular shot. But you can see the characteristic rotation of the scope reticle.
I mean the full auto glitch is unpracticle to preform most of the time, unless you want to hold R for the entire match, and only realy usefull on the PanzerBuchse 39

Ooh, to be completely honest I never actually played that game aside from a few hours. I started the series spoiled on BF1 and V, and their more satisfying gunplay as well as the fact that I like the older setting has kept me from seeing a reason to play BF4.
