Just a warning if you get a Jasper. Check the board for Sanyo 1500µF caps, all 9 of these started leaking on my board. My PCB was damaged by the leakage.
What ??? I assume this apply only to the V1 model (electrolytic cap around the cpu) ?? The V2 use almost all solide cap. Anyhow, thanks for the warning. I’m glad knowing I’m not the only one still loving our good old phat jasper. Best board anyway.

Got a Elite Black Jasper back in 2009. I've been travelling so much (life) and...ralely played it. Yesterday opened it to buy/download last games sine e-shop is closing today. Brand new.. I think we can onmy worry to do a repaste !

I have a Jasper thats dated 2010. Latest one, since the newer slim came out in 2010.

My Xbox 360 Jaspers is decent
The 2008/2009 Fat Xbox 360 consoles are probably the best, the slims have issues of their own. Screen of death and red dot etc.
That's why I got the Jasper model in the 1st place.

Red Dot Of Death is more unlikely than the Red Ring Of Death on the Xenon Consoles
I've had 4 slims since 2010, never had a single issue
a falcon power supply works perfectly fine on a jasper

@@Rikarocks2001Xenon works with all fat models because it needed more power. Jasper uses the least amount of power so didn’t need the higher wattage.

Im rocking a Fat White Jasper 2009 model. No issues since purchase, except for the cd tray that keeps jamming. My o-g Xenon lasted from 2006-2009

I have a Jasper. Only issue I have is that the disk tray doesn't like opening.
If you replace the drive belt it should fix that

True but the Jasper and Slims are less likely to get it.
i mean any system pc console can die…
The only way to get rrod on jaspers and slims is by plugging the av/hdmi incorrectly or something like that
