    The one you cut up and put in okra stew might be called juke leaf. It is very common around here. I’m not sure of the local name, but it is very good for you. Try to look it up.

    I wanted to give you an update since we last spoke. I did take a garden egg from my garden and plant the seeds and they sprouted. You could probably try saving the seeds from your produce and growing them. You have to nurse them in an area and put some Covering over them. I’m sure you have people to help you there to show you. My papaya tree has grown from seed. We have only been here a little over a year and a half so get some fruit and vegetables 😊

    Maybe this is my last comment since the video is almost over. I really enjoyed hanging out with you guys. I started a compost pile in my yard until I realize that my animals can compost it much better for me than I can do it myself we use poultry manure from our poultry farm and till it

    Hello from a Bajan American happy farming. An don’t forget to soak your seed in water before planting them! The seeds that sink to the bottom of a jar, glass etc are good & the ones that float are not.. I definitely want to get my own fruits and vegetables. I did back home in Barbados and in the state I love gardening I can’t wait to do it on my land…
    As for your girl cats be careful that they don’t get pregnant by a wondering male cat because they can have babies now! It’s best to get them spayed after their heats ends… I got my 9 month old female cat fixed last week. She was the last of my 4 animals to be fixed. I have 2 dogs & 2 cats. I’m moving to Ghana in the fall. I work in a vet clinic here in the states so I took full advantage of getting my animals fixed before I moved there! Peace & many blessings on the continent 🇧🇧🇺🇸🇬🇭💐😊

    • @kinzababe1
      @kinzababe1  Před měsícem +1

      I want to get the cat fixed but I have to do some research on vets. I wanted to soak the corn first but super _shady said no need too. I will soak the rest.

      Fresh seeds possibly, but seeds in a package you should soak so u can eliminate the bad ones.. Yeah you definitely would want to find a good veterinarian out there in Ghana. I don’t hear anyone talking about vet clinics experiences out there on CZcams! That’s something I’m going to have to look into when I arrive there in Cape Coast or not to far from there will see. Until then I’ll make sure that I do my older cat & dog dental’s before I move out there! Happy planting 😊🇧🇧🇺🇸🇬🇭💐

    Great choice of mango tree! The corn here is different as I’m sure you know if you plant corn and are expecting the soft type of sweetcorn that we enjoy. In the states you will be highly disappointed. The corn hair is more firm. You are doing an amazing job. I enjoy watching your videos, and if anyone is coming from the states, they could bring you some seeds. There are different companies that have heirloom non-GMO seeds. That’s just a food for thought you’re doing a wonderful job as I said, be careful where you plant the mango tree as the local mango trees if I’m not mistaken have roots that could damage your wall or foundation. I’m sure your gardening teacher knows that already.😂 I’m just throwing it out there. Great to see you guys.

    Hi sis use your ceiling fans to help dry your clothes inside. I do it right here in the west. My pockets will hurt if I go to that nursery; beautiful. Make him some good bush tea with lemongrass, ginger, etc., you know how to do it. 🤣

      @@kinzababe1 Go right ahead sis you have a balcony. My cat used to eat my lemongrass so watch out for that. I guess it was healthy for him as well but it was a fight to keep him away. 🤣 I picked up a few stalks of the grass and placed them in water with a dash of cinnamon for quick rooting. 2 in pots outside and 1 in the kitchen to cut as needed. I can't wait to see what you'll be growing.
