  • [WE ARE DIPLOMATS English Version] Nuri attends the burial ceremony for a Dutch Korean War Veteran Ferdinand Titalepta
The Korean War broke out on June 25, 1950, and the Netherlands became the fourth country, following the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia, to dispatch troops to protect freedom and peace in Korea. Among them, the late Ferdinand Titalepta, a veteran of the Korean War from 1953 to 1954 as a member of the Van Heutsz Regiment, passed away and his remains returned to the United Nations Memorial Cemetery in Busan. Nuri was with the deceased's family through his journey back to his resting comrades laid to rest. In celebration of Patriots and Veterans Month, we will tell you the stories of people whom Korea must not forget.
