S21 FE is a downgrade to the S20 FE for sure. I mean missing microSD slot and such but also processing seems to be made worse. More boosted colors and more sharpening I see all over the place and the S20 FE is doing that already.
The zoom camera in daylight is no difference in night time I think especially in video mode the algorithm on the S21 FE is better.
All in all you are absolutely right. Buying the S21 FE is wasting money :P

I think the zoom camera on daylight on s21 shows more details on the grass.
The s21 fe cameras are more clear and illuminated
for me s21FE won in every category apart from selfie video 4k/30fps on the start of your video - so its clear winner over s20 fe

got the exynos version of s21 fe. so far, no doubts. camera wise, it's a big improvement for me since i upgraded from iphone x. tho, colors appear to be more vibrant or saturated. in terms of battery, at first i only get 5-6 hrs sot. but after a month, i get 7-7.5 hrs sot probably because samsung's algorithm figured out my daily usage :)
about the headphone jack and micro sd, i have no problem since im not a person who listens to music daily. and micro sd, i have nothing to store at all. i have cloud drives beside me.
exynos 2100 is not a problem to me as well. it can carry all the tasks i needed for. not a heavy gamer as i always prioritize my battery so i kept all my settings low.
good thing is that i scored the s21 fe for only 404$ at a local courier. 😁

Battery life would be better with 20. And it comes with a charger and a SD card slot. However, the screen may be more fragile...

The s21 fe also has a stronger glass which is a big win considering how my s20fe screen got ink and went black after falling of the couch. Just got the 21fe on Thursday and am extremely happy with it

You must also know that S20FE will only have its last OS Update next year and S21 FE still fresh and brand new and will get updates for 5 years so think wisely about spending your money

I got the S21 FE today for 380$ at Xfinity Mobile with An Upgrade not bad I got a good Deal and phone feels and does what the S series Flagships can do for less $$ , I recommend this in May 3 , 2022
I bought the s21 fe 128GB / 6GB for 750€, now the smartphone is already available for under 500€ in the 128GB / 6GB version and under 600€ in the 256GB / 8GB version, now I'm a bit frustrated about it. :0 Not waiting for a price to drop was a mistake lol I probably won't do it again. The s21 fe also is my first flagship deviece, i had a galaxy m30s before and before that an galaxy j5 2017 wich i sold, maybe the m30s too soon. But in general I am very satisfied with the device, in my opionion the performance of the deviece is great, I will keep it for the next 3 to 4 years for sure. And with the snapdragon 888 cpu there are enough reserves for the future years. :)

I went to local samsung store checked the a53 and a73 and the built quality all felt like cheap, kinda toy like, so I decided to get s20 fe as my return to samsung after s5. it is selling less than the A53s 5G here.
They both sell for similar money 💰

I'm currently using a Samsung Galaxy S21 FE which is graphite in color. and I feel strange when updating one ui 4.1 which is up to 1.4GB if I'm not mistaken. when I look at the camera, there is something different, namely the noise problem which I think is quite disturbing. Hopefully Samsung will have another update and the camera will be fixed again😔😔😔. and I choose 256GB storage

do not forget ! s21fe has 2x amoled screen, just like the most expensive android phones. it matters a lot. I switched from s20fe 5g to s21fe. can see the difference on the screen, amoled 2x. overall, as a phone I like the s20 fe more...but the offer from Orange was too good...s21fe for 230 euros

S21 FE is often on discount for around 420 EUR. At that price S21 FE is IMO better than S20 FE that the lowest price I saw was around 380 EUR.

During day, s20fe for wide angle and 1x, S21fe for 3x. In night, s21fe for videos, s20fe for photos.
I think s21fe will improve over time, now it process images too much in my opinion.

Great comparison. Something I noticed for the S20 FE as well as the S21 FE was that after several months a so called "New edition" or "2nd gen" for those phone was pushed by Samsung. In case of the S21 for example it has the serial "SM-990B2" instead of only a "SM-990B" (At least in Germany). Maybe that would be an interesting topic for a revisit, since the S21 FE still seems to be highly popular. Would be interesting if Samsung improved something, or maybe even downgraded something to save costs since all the important reviews are allready out there.

The S21 FE now has 100 euros off through Samsung promotions which means I can get it for 469 euros. The S20 FE is 449 and you get a pair of Galaxy Buds2 for free. I've tried several Snapdragon 888 phones and they all heated up during normal tasks and their batteries also drained very quickly. How is this on the S21 FE and also how does it compare to the S20 FE?
I didn't experience this myself to be honest. Battery is doing fine and no overheating issues. For this 469 what a great choice 😊

I changed from S20 FE to S21 FE because I want more better camera,Especially night mode and I think its good decision. S21 FE is more better in Telephoto, with great quality zoom detail. Night mode is better than S20 FE so much. Video quality also great too. Bad point is Screen optimize is still broken.

There are few phones with similar camera performance such as s21 plus or OnePlus 9 pro. However they are some better phone's such as pixel 6 pro , s22 ultra, Vivo x70 pro plus, Xiaomi 11 ultra

@@DariuszTech so you just plugged them into the charging port and the microphones were recognized auromatically and useable?
In the device is no switch to change from internal to external microphone. I once tried in a shop to plug in some microphones but none of them were recognized.
It should automatically recognise the microphone. I use this boya mic with all my reviews using different phones. Works like a dream 😄

It seems it's look like one is simple and other on picture is on HDR. There is quite difference ether color blue on sky and the green on grass however it quite same on the buildings color.

S 21 fe is a real flagship killer 😊
S20 FE had overheating problems, on long video calls it was stopping to cool down, knowing today that Samsung cheated on specs(full SOC speed is available only in AnTuTu and Geekbench) I think A52s is a better option, now heavy discounted after A53 launch. But hey, nobody was buying S21FE and just a few bought S20FE(me included, the resell value was so low after just 2 months of use that I kept it as a "smart home" master controller). Cheers!

S20 FE has a horrible selfie camera and group selfies when sitting at a table are pretty much useless, I sent it back !
