My 2023 Year as A Competitive Adult Figure Skater (journeybacktotheice)

Hi everyone! I made another year end recap as a competitive adult figure skater!
I thought this was a great way to look back on all of the competitions, adventures, and progress I have made over the past year. My main focus for 2023 was my single axel and moving up to compete at the adult silver level. The highlights of my year was becoming a USFS gold medalist and making it on the podium for free skate at nationals. Looking forward to everything 2024 brings!

Your progress is absolutely extraordinary! Wanted to ask if you could recommend around what skill level to move up to an intermediate blade like coro ace?

Thank you! I decided to move up once I started working on adult pre-bronze/bronze moves and loop, flip, lutz etc. These have honestly been a great investment for the price! I think once you start working on full single rotation jumps like loop and are serious about skating, that is a great time to make the switch.
