so after you finish school. how do you get a hospital to hire you with job experience?

U go through the prerequisite courses first. Then get in to 2 year program.and then apply if u pass the state board exam

Honest question: Is this even a career worth getting into? I have read that jobs can be scarce.

I feel a RT is a like a Nurse who specialize in respiratory system. I imagine, They may be seen in ICU and cardiac units. I feel there can be jobs for this.

Respiratory therapists look like Nurses. They are just Nurses who specialize in the respiratory system! 🥳
I am a nurse assistant and volunteered in the hospital already. I wanted to transfer to university for health science but I feel I should try this RT program.

We are not nurses! That’s the last thing we are! When we go in a room to do a breathing treatment and they say oh this bump on my butt I am so glad to say “I’ll get your nurse” and also a nurse can’t incubate if they need life support!
