For us who grew up with them they are a cherished part of us that we can't escape. Our innocent drug to fight bad days. There's an explosive live performance of this song as a dual set in transition with 'Hole in your soul'.As was originally performed inseparable in the finale of their 6 nights(all sold out) wembley Arena '79 tour in UK. A big fans fave.

    Hi Zeddy😀
A better version of this track for you to listen is the live version from their 1979 world tour, filmed at Wembley, London, they are so brilliant as a live band so different from what you see in their music videos, I was one of the lucky ones who got to see ABBA in London.
Other tracks where Bjorn takes lead vocals are "Rock Me", he also does a duet with Frida called "Why did it have to be me", the live version from their 1977 Australian Tour is the one to watch, their movie also featured this. ABBA "The Movie" was filmed around their Australian Tour, it's a bit cheesy but you get to see some stunning live performances from abba, there's also alot of live performances from their 1979 Wembley Arena concerts on CZcams.
Enjoy the ABBA rabbit hole that you have now entered 🤪
    🇬🇧👍

As Alex wrote, you should definitely see the song package Does Your Mother Know+Hole In Your Soul from Wembley 1979, if only for the guitar solos, ABBA full of energy and passion on stage. Then you will be amazed and understand the ABBA magic.
PS this video was unfortunately a short radio version without solo.
Please grab the new lyric-film video of Gimme, Gimme, Gimme /A Man After Midnight (second most streamed ABBA song) otherwise you'll miss the interesting steamy synthi-bass middle part. Have fun!!!

Another Town Another Train is one of my favourite Bjorn lead vocals songs. One of their earliest songs. When you do Eagle, make sure it’s the long version.

As you may already know, all four members of ABBA were established artists before they started the band - ABBA was kind of a super group from day one. Bjorn was the lead singer in his band. And if you listen to the first couple of ABBA albums, he sings the lead on quite a few of the songs. Soon they realised the power of Frida’s and Agnetha’s combined voices though, and wrote almost exclusively for them. This and Two For The Price Of One are a couple of exceptions from their later discography. Benny never sang lead to my knowledge, but he did join Bjorn when they needed male backing vocals, like in Take A Chance On Me, for example.

Same here,In DSMD they sound so mellow beautiful (even sounding as if they were in their 20s) not the mention their dreamy 'oooohh-ings' in 'One Man One Woman".

    First comment here!
So happy to see You, and thanks for more reaction to ABBA songs
    "Does your mother know" (1979)
it's the second single from "Voulez Vous" album,
wich is ABBA more disco sound
it pick at Top 5 in UK Official Charts
is the only ABBA single released in UK with the guitarist Björn in the lead voice
all the rest are with Agnetha & Frida
"Does your mother know" was performed in some TV presentations,
and have a special live perfomance in Switzerland 1979
and the most fantastic in the North American Europe Tour 1979
these Official Video was filmed in April 1979,
in the same days with "Voulez Vous" official video
in the blonde Agnetha's 29 birthday
(think that a few mounth before Agnetha & Björn split as a couple
    with two youngest children)
That's why my suggestion is to
    "Voulez Vous"
the official video was filmed the same day
I wish You a great week
    GOD bless you
    My best regards from
    Buenos Aires, Argentina 🇦🇷

    another comment
ABBA in the beginning was not the main project, but the duo of the musicians Björn and Benny, while the ladies Agnetha and Frida had their solo careers.
and they even do background vocals and choirs in some song on their album as a duo in 1970
when the four together record their first song in English
    "People Need Love" (1972)
they achieve a first local success, so they later make another recording
    "He is your brother" (1972)
which will be #1 on the radio in Sweden
there they decide to make an album "Ring Ring" and be a fixed quartet
I suggest you look for these two earliest and first ABBA songs
"People need love" is a TV presentation in Sweden 1972
"He is your brother" is live on tour in Europe and Australia 1977 (five years later)
in both songs all four share lead vocals, in different ways
    Benny only sang one song
    "Suzy hang around" (1974)
Björn sang several more, the main ones that he sang on tour or on TV:
    Rock Me (1975)
Why did it have to be me (1976) share in parts with Frida & Agnetha

I think it would benefit you to go thorough the entire catalog so you can witness the evolution of ABBA from people Need Love to The Day Before You Came.

Here's Your ABBA Crash Course in pronouncing their difficult Swedish names:
Agnetha, Björn, Benny, Anni-Frid = ABBA
Agnetha sings using her Tongue = "Tongnetha" = Angnetha = Agnetha. OK?
Björn Earns money = BjEarns = Björn. OK?
ABBA is pronounced with the Stress on the last "A". Like this: abbA. OK? Good Luck!
Yes, I'm Swedish - and I saw ABBA live 1975, just as their Rocket Career Took OffAlso:
And Please, Please, Please! Turn up the Music - it's far too Low compared to Your Comments.
