Your daughter's new dress is a delight! She must be a twirler. 😊 Your little ceramic heads add a touch of whimsy and personality to your home. My mom kept many crafts I created as a kid, some better crafted than others! 😂 My one ceramic project is a bowl which makes a comical crooked Holstein cow patterned candy dish of sorts. But Mom loves it, anyway! Art Nouveau. 😂

@savagereads I absolutely agree! Each time we come to Croatia from Canada we bring a few more homey things and keepsakes. But we still have most in our Canada home as that's technically still our permanent residence (though we live much more here in Croatia). You'll definitely treasure your daughters' crafts always! I love that Mom kept many of our things including stories I wrote as a small girl. Hilarious and insightful for sure!

I'm just learning to knit and I'm working on a cardigan for myself and another one (as practice) for a 3 year old I know :) I'm currently listening to The Silver Crown by Robert C O'Brien, and it is something extraordinary and I highly recommend! But if you're not familiar with it, be warned: before you read it to your kids, read the first chapter yourself first, because it's a truly shocking start for a kids' book.

Stephen Fry's trilogy is great and I recommend them to others who are just starting out. Even though I don't read much fiction, I'm always pleased too when I see lots of different kinds of classical Greco-Roman retellings being published. Great vid

I didn't know Claire North did an ancient Greece book, I love her scifi book 'the first 15 lives of Harry August'. Also, your volume is absolutely fine in every video, ignore that rude person. Amy sounds like the craziest of the Sedaris family, I'm going to get a new Sedaris audiobook soon.

I've had Ithaca come in from the library a couple of times and just hadn't gotten to it yet...I must change that! How have you not made a blanket yet? All I knit or crochet are blankets! If I'm feeling crazy, I might do a scarf!
I got into knitting from a friend that helped me make a baby sweater so I have only knitted clothing and accessories 😅It is nice because it takes so little yarn to make clothing compared to a blanket. But hey! I'm going to give it a go. I would love to hear what you think about Ithaca if you get to it!
I really appreciate the content, but just like going to a concert where musicians wear shabby clothes, I wish a little more effort was made for a public performance. You get more of a pass with free content, but how much effort would it be to wear something other than a super wrinkly t-shirt? Also, I can hear you with all my volume settings maximized in a quiet room, but if there's a way to increase the volume from your end, I'd recommend it. I love the booktubers that broadcast loudly enough that I can hear them while I'm gardening. Just trying to help you gain subscribers and monetize your work.

This is a hobby I enjoy in my spare time and I had spent all morning with my children at a flower festival.
