    ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Amber! I'm an ex-corporate girl, and this is where I teach meditation for people who live in the modern world. I help you go from being stressed, overworked, and using unhealthy coping mechanisms to having a regular meditation and self-care practice so you can feel at peace and be your own best friend.

I learned this lesson so you don't have to…
Every single time I had burn out was the result of perfectionism and the pressure to constantly be productive. Every. Time.
These feelings always came with thoughts like:
💭 "If I don't get back to this email within 24 hours, they're going to think I'm slacking off" (despite having a reputation for being on top of things).
💭 "I'm so tired, but if I don't take this meeting, I might get reprimanded" (even though I was never actually reprimanded a single time).
💭 "I have to prepare thoroughly for every meeting, or else I might get caught not knowing the answer to something, which will make me look stupid" (even though I had a knowledgeable team to lean on).
Then, inevitably, I would give more than I had and find myself drained, irritated, and chronically anxious about having too much going on.
These thoughts haven't left me, even though I quit my tech job. They just morphed into another shape. But I can catch them now, and I don't let them throw me off track anymore.
Let me know in a comment if this resonated today. How are you working through feelings of perfectionism and the pressure to be productive? 👇🏻
