    I love my Blackfin X! Have been using mine for over 2 years in lakes and rivers and haven't had a single issue with my board. Plenty of places to store gear and great attachment points. Highly recommend!

    What would you recommend for a touring paddle board? Long distance camping. I guess you could say expedition.

    we purchased 2 of these boards and regretted it.We had problems with the fins from the beginning. One of the boards is splitting at the seam, There is no one that you can talk to, the only way to contact them is through email, and it takes weeks before they reply. We spend about $2,500.00 on these boards. We should have just gone to Costco and got one there, it's probably of better quality.

    I purchased 2 Blackfin XL paddle boards last week. They came in super fast and looked very nice. First day of our Camping trip 2 days ago the first one split apart. Yesterday evening the second one started having bubbles coming out of the board in several places while my grandbabies were on it. Today I am looking for another Brand. Your video was super helpful. I want 2 Boards that will be great fishing and just playing at the beach wit the grand kids. We do not need to add motor or peddle drive. We want a great fishing board that won't leave us stranded. What do you recommend?

      You sure yours wasn't apart of the recall? If you look now they're "out of stock" which means they stopped selling them till they get fresh ones.

    Hey man... great vid! Really informative and well shot. I'm about to buy a Blackfin X, but I have some reservations about the rear scotty mounts. They seems to be too far along the deck pad and I'm concerned that my feet will sit on them when I'm kneeling and paddling. What is your view on this? Are they positioned badly? Thanks

      @adventurestatus5715  Před 2 lety +2

      Hey! Thanks a lot! This is my second CZcams channel as My other one "Evan Luft" is all about my life as a pilot! :) But.. back on subject, I find that I tried all of the mount positions with rod holders etc, and now I am at the point where I actually just place the fishing rod/lay the rod on the deck. Its faster and easier for me. It sounds silly, but where I'm usually fishing, its just simpler to not have the mounts and holders all over the place. When it comes to kneeling, I have yet to accidentally kneel on one as they are positioned out of the way. The scotty mount positions are easy on the feet to stand on (unless you have a rod holder attached of course :p) but so far not an issue at all. I've tried and owned about 4 different brand of boards for fishing and still these Blackfins are by far the best. Mainly for the weight, versatility and ease of setup, Im on the water now almost 3-4 times a week, even in the winter (no fishing of course during winter). I hope this helped and answered your question :) And if you do buy through my link use LUFT002 to get $50 off! :)

      My blackFin blow up only after 3 use due to faulty manufacturing. There is a big recall and it’s been over 3 months without a paddle board living in Florida. I called them today and they told me that unfortunately I will probably not get my new one for another 4 months. As soon as they send me the new one I will be selling it and buying me a Bote. Really bad customer service.

    Myself and a friend researched SUPs. Looked like Irocker was very well rated. Both our boards fell apart. What's worse, the company wont answer their phone or respond. Buyer beware. Something wrong here!!!

    • @scubawithdom3278
      @scubawithdom3278 Před 2 lety

      So they actually recalled certain model Blackfins. Something happened to the factory they were made in. I think it was a typhoon or something like that. Customer service has been swamped with it. That being said some people are getting responses but the emails are automatically put in spam so check your spam file for anything

      @@scubawithdom3278 Appreciate you taking the time to reply. You do a great job, definitely sold me. Nothing in my spam. The world is having challenges. Labor and supply. Its important to use companies that respond to their customers and give support. Even if its bad news for your customers you answer the phone and let them know that they might have to wait or explain the issue and your doing everything you can to help. That's not Irocker. They don't want to talk to you because they are too busy.. when you are overwhelmed in service and customers are calling with problems and you refuse to answer your phone, what kind of message does that send? There are many reasons why a company would choose to do this ....non of them good. Either they have a let them wait attitude or they have chosen not to financially support the issue. The two blackfin xl boards we bought are not from the recall serial numbers . They both have the non skid falling off of them and bubbling.....one year old....cant tell you why. There's no one to talk to or get an email response from.
