- The year is 1999 and Mariah Carey is storming the charts with her gimmicky feelgood single "Heartbreaker". For the clubs, she reworked the song with legendary remixer Junior Vasquez, who very cleverly blended Val Young's "If You Should Ever Be Lonely" into the composition as a seamless breakdown. We all know Mariah loves her eighties music, so for my remix I had the song stand on its own with a future-retro production. One version features the lovely MC Lyte, and the other is a no-rap version where Mariah shines solo. I do my mixes without a budget, so if you enjoy them, please share the link to this video to your favourite Mariah groups. Enjoy!

Her dance mix of Heartbreaker/If You Should Ever Be Lonely is my favorite dance mix of hers, and I always wished she recorded IYSEBL as a stand alone song, but this remix is awesome!
