Bad gas is well bad...

Bad gas can cause a lot of issues in boats especially these new 4 strokes. Be sure to add a stabilizer and always buy gas from a reputable source.

If I’m not mistaken, Mercury says don’t run fuel more than 21 days old. Not sure that applies to Non Ethanol fuel. IMO, you should always run Non Ethanol in these outboard motors.
