Odysee is a decentralized video platform that puts the power back to the creators. Join the fight for freedom!
This is the best way to support the channel (even better than Patreon)
in what is it better than youtube? is there benefit for craftors?
No arbitary censorship. No shadowbanning. To my knowledge, the platform runs purely based on competition, unlike several big-tech companies that have received many lawsuits for suppressing free market, violating constitutional rights etc.
I also earn a larger portion of the income from video (basically I get everything). In general the creator has more control. Also it's exciting because crypto! 😄
@@BardsCraft Thank you, i will give it a try, ill upload my videos there
@@Artifexmaholifts Welcome!
Many crafters start out using the simple cheap easily found items to make their incredible builds but as their popularity goes up they seem to go more corporate. I do wish you the best of luck and hope you continue to grow but never lose your roots as a crafter.
Oh yes - that is a very good point. I hope Bard stays TRUE ;O because he is much more to me then just another crafter... his videos are full of spirit and swedishness ;o)
Yeah, once they have a few thousand subscribers the tech sponsorships usually start rolling in. 3D printers are great and all but for craftiness they can't compare to hand whittling gems from twigs 😁
1:21 I'm not even gonna say it, *you know why I'm here*
ok fine
*öᴀᴛᴇs ɢᴀɴɢ*
Öatses
Despite being mostly stone and grass, the colours are amazing in this build, nothing too wild but it's super vibrant and fun looking.
Most underrated youtuber ever
Indeed
Not by me and you, Owen.
12:40 LOL!
Based, and possibly even redpilled.
@@jeanhamilton3296 right on
Thank you for linking to my video!
No problem. The flowers worked nicely!
Really nice build, as always.
Keep up the good work. Nice to see your channel as popular as it is
I would love to see you make some caves or caverns. I think they would turn out super awsome.
maybe like a shoe box diorama (the lid comes off) Owen Wilson! erm i mean WOW!
The waystone guided me directly to the like button before even watching the video!
It's great as always!
You are exactly the creator I was looking for! Making fantasy themed builds without expensive materials OR expensive equipment. I was looking for something recycled to use as grass and other plants and this rope idea is amazing. Love this video, subscribed and I'll make sure to watch your other videos.
Cardstock! So adaptable. Great build my friend. I love the crystals. Sharp edges are everything! The sprue flowers are an epic additions - must try some. Another inspired build.
Great project!
Great humor!
Love your crafting approach (cardboard, wood and other carbage materials - that's great!) Also almost no measurements - awesome!
The segue in to the Skillshare ad was very smooth. Those fancy plants from spures technique is very clever. Maybe a bit of gloss or satin varnish on the crystals could boost them even further?
Another delightful crafting video. Presentation is such a treat - backing music and +5 brush noises make it!
I appreciated the low-key Coca-Cola board-room mockery.
I didnt get it
@@TheDrMike25 We're supposed to be "less white" right?
Those small smiles while you focus on crafting are everything
Great terrain as always
Love your channel and hope it grows further. Great narration and the creativity/focus on making the most of what you already have around! I've used a lot of tips in my builds. Keep up the awesome work!
One of my favorite videos of yours. Love the "scrap" crafting! Keep it up!!!
I know it's been over a year since you left... but I still come back to watch your old videos from time to time. You are, hands down, my favorite CZcams crafter! Thank you for all these amazing videos!
Using cut-up hemp rope for grass flocking is a great idea! Love your work.
You show people that they can create wonderful builds without expensive tools. You are so fun to watch. 👍👍👍👍👍
I LOVE your accessible crafting materials! Now I feel I can craft terrain too! Thank you!
Glad I discovered your channel. I love how you use "junk" to make a beautiful piece of art.
I usually wait until the end to give a like but your joke starting at 12:40 forced my hand and a like was delivered from me.
'The peasant crafter' a nice turn of phrase. Seems like you have an approach much like mine. Great work.
Thanks
@@BardsCraft I'm literally working on a video now that's material list is pva, sandpaper, a cereal box, CA glue, water, and a dollar poster paint set.
Fun stuff this on the cheap, isn't it?
4:29 you stand no chance, puny table!
Using found materials resulted in a very eye catching diorama. Thanks for the humorous commentary.
Those flowers were cool. I do not have any plastic, but unable to make any excuses, I used the same technique on a wooden bbq skewer. It is not as nice and sorta fragile, but passable peasant craft!
Thanks for another great build! I will definently be adding a white gell pen to my arsenal. Thanks for the tip!
Thanks to you I've made my first build this week :D I've looked at your ruined windmill for inspiration. I made a tiny ruined tower as test piece (xps foam bricks, whiteglue, part of paper tube (from paper towels so it's quite small), ice cream sticks for boards and untangled hemp rope as vine between bricks, I've seen it somewhere on YT and looks pretty neat.)
Your narrative is always entertaining!
I think this looks really great!! Love the little touches you've added in to your build!!
My children and I have enjoyed many of your videos. They have been inspired to create things and I am a fan of that.
I have a sort of unrelated question though.
I was wondering if you could share what is written on your knife. I have always been curious.
Thank you for your contribution to the creative world.
Patrons are written on the knife
(Their names)
4:53 Dang these segways for sponsors are getting better
Lol thanks
At 9:26 you show the Reaper miniature Anirion.
I quit smoking cigarettes this summer not long before discovering your channel. I had collected a few minis over the years with the intent to learn to paint them one day, and after quitting smoking I had more money to start. I got the Reaper Miniatures Learn to Layer starter kit, and Anirion was the first miniature I painted.
Thank you for helping me take the first step in painting miniatures.
There are lots of great miniture crafters and painters. Black Magic Craft, Wylock, Miniac and many more.
@@PheonixKnght yeah I follow all of them as well, Bard's Craft was just where the journey started. I found it fascinating that both his Anirion and mine are painted similarly.
Really enjoyable build, I think my only criticism is that on the skeleton with the weapon is there is a mould line on the skull. That being said love the look of this build!
I wondered. When I used to do plastic modelling as a kid I was an obsessive filer and filler. My painting wasn't great, though.
The forest of enlitenment is an awesome tid bit. I call my forest the forest of evermore.
Also, thanks for this. I have an idea for a crystal monument and I have been trying to put off buying xps foam for as long as possible.
Beautiful work as always!
Love seeing a dwarf waystone for once instead of the elven waystones or druidic stone circles! You see a lot of those on game tables, and I love that kind of terrain; so building one that fits a dwarf's architectural sensibilities and style is super cool!!!
I am so impressed with the items you make and out of cardboard! And you use such a big knife! Thank you for the information I have gotten from watching you work and explaining why and how you make your creations.
nothing short of amazing .. this is a brilliant build . Thank you for sharing
FANTASTIC UPCYCLING,,, BRILLIANTLY DONE.. BRAVO ATVB,,, Scott Somerset UK
Thank you
I am amazed by your skills. Im using this crystals made from branches and sticks today when I get off work.
Those sprue plants are great! I need to try making some...
Great job, as always. Congratulations!
Another beautiful piece. Great work.
nice plan and amazing diorama.
Man, you have such great sentiment in your videos. Good wisdom for normal life as well as crafting, o' CraftSage.
so beautiful!!! love, love and love
That looks so sick, love your work as always. The metallic texturing is baller.
That's a really good crafting vid at last... i thought you'd lost your inner muse, but thank the gods, I was wrong! :D
Keep up the good crafts!
I wonder if he already realized that he has real artistic talent. I have seen only 5 videos and I can already notice certain aspects of aesthetics that are very typical of him.
It is something very similar to when a musician plays and you immediately recognize his sound. Artistically speaking that is not easy
"even tho we supposed to be less white now"+"edgy highlights" made my Day. XD
Love how his "political" attitude shines through from time to time. Some leftist may not like but... I don't care about Grima Wormtongue complaining, 😂😂😂
Great work!
Awesome work. Really inspiring!
Another great build.
Thanks for addressing the coke thing. You're awesome!
Really love your use of colours in this one.
Thanks man! One of my favourite dioramas so far
Sheesh Bard, the sexy pose at the start is enough to make any Dwarven lady go wild. Always a pleasure to see your work! Thanks buddy, I have been digging the other channel's videos!
Kiitos! This is a great project and gives me plenty of ideas.
Another Great one! Thanks for the tips
I know bards craft is done and dusted for the foreseeable future but by the gods he made some simple and undoubtedly awesome videos
Great video!
excellent video as usual, but this one was cooler I do not know why. super zen piece of terrain.
It's been Few days ago only I have seen your channel and I liked and subscribed your channel , I like your channel cause I like your way in which you make and I also love the quality of what you're making ( detailed) 👍👍
Love the oats.
I learn a lot. Thank you
Amazing Diorama!! greetings from Brazil! S2
Awsome job mate 👍
Thanks for the video! I really enjoy your content and creativity
Nice work
Saw the teaser at the beginning, instantly liked it
me watching that "athletic training xtreme" black & red thing and thinking with some cardboard and work could look just as an x-wing canon :p
I love it....have you thought about doing a cave or tunnel
You just killed me with that coke joke xD.
Nice work and videos! I like that you use non expensive stuff to do great job!
I found something that could help for grass - and for cheap : electric fly zapper flocking grass hack… seems to work nice (maybe synthetic grass only?)
AWESOMEEE
Great video! Keep it up.
Great stuff friend 👏 👍
Bard's craft's dioramas look like Warcraft III
who ever is the 1 person who disliked this video know you angered a lot of people
probably another one person who cannot figure out what XPS foam is and keep complaining about using "materials which are impossible to get"
I appreciated your humor, thanks for bringing sanity to an increasingly insane world🤣 subscribed.🇺🇸
I watched the Odysee "farewell" video, and am glad for this talented guy getting better earnings on that platform. But I didn't understand what The Way of the Warrior exactly means. He didn't explain much, just seemed to say he was only making Bard's Craft models for income. Not sure how to take that -- he seemed to enjoy what he was making, and his craft videos were fun, witty, creative, and even inspiring. He is a talented guy. I wish he would tell us more clearly what he's really up to now. He wants to be a real-life Warrior? Fighting whom, what, where? I guess practicing Archery and swordsmanship and all is just as legitimate as other pursuits (I bowhunt myself). But some details would be nice. It might induce people to follow you over to Odysee if we understood more!
I now make videos on Age of the North and focus more on my personal life. Didn't want to advertisd my new channel to the wrong audience.
Once again a funny and informative video, Painting the flocking after it’s already go down will be way easier
This was awesome gave me some ideas. Got a new subscriber!
This honors the hall of our fathers.
I love the music
Amazing work!!
Wish i can live in that World 🥰🥰🥰
Sick!
You should make some streams one day, I want more of your content.
I love it !
super!
Epic!
since copper rusts green, what if you made a trap where it looked like a field of grass, but when you stepped on it, it would stab you because it was actually copper. im not a dungeon master so i thought i would give you this trap idea
Lucas, I've been looking for ways to scratch build mecha for ash barker's (also known as guerrilla miniature games) Gamma Wolves. Your runestone center piece gives me some papercraft mecha inspiration.
Anyway, thanks👍😀
💖I love yours videos/ your crafts🧚🖖
Beautiful results
Very based. We never drank sugar shitwater anyway @12:40 . Bad for teeth and physique.
Dude your cardstock stuff if outof this world
Thanks
🔥🔥🔥
still waiting for the snow to go away so I can use your epic crafting techniques.
