Bad play by gus
When I first started studying poker earlier this year, I only had a surface level knowledge of the game, and knew a few celebrity players, Gus Hansen being one of them. A buddy of mine who knows and follows the game told me that Hansen is an atrocious poker player, and I didn't really understand why.
Now I do.
Gus is NOT an atrocious poker player. Gus won three World Poker Tour open titles, one WSOP bracelet and the 2007 Aussie Millions main event, and was the season one winner of the Poker Superstars Invitational Tournament where he beat Doyle Brunson, Johnny Chan, Chip Reese (the greatest cash game player ever), Barry Greenstein, TJ Cloutier, Phil Ivey and Howard Lederer. Show me a new generation poker player who can accomplish even half of that.............
@@samiam7342 gus is a good tournament player with a huge bankroll at the time. He had no business in these large cash games.
@National Sports Entertainment no its just bad risk management...he's a great tourney player is where he should have stayed he's wayyyyyy loose for cash gamed when he'd got a small bank roll

nah thats not a bad fold the open shove looks very strong and then when dwan calls out of position that looks very strong too and 2 kings is never gonna be best especially with dwans large range he could have easily just flopped trips
