I have given up ESPN as long as Ms. Andrew is employed by ESPN.
There have been 10+ WNBA players involved with law enforcement in the last year and she has NEVER brought it up. When she keeps bringing up dropped cases from 10-15 years ago only for African American players it starts to become a pattern. After she accused Jalen of putting his finger in her armpit when they were on film and everyone could clearly see the side hug and his hand on top of her shoulder, I knew she was begging to be another 'Me Too" victim. She is a problem. Has Doris Burke or Rachel Nichols made comments like Andrews on repeat? No! And they have covered the NBA for 20+ years
She's fine. A bit rough around the edges, but she'll get better.
I'd say that male athletes should no longer accept any more interviews from her. Also she should be instructed to not put out info or talk about dead people's past transgressions.
Yeah! Male athletes should take a page outta Giannis' book and just flat out walk out on her when asking them questions! Just boycott her!

Yeah. Plus remember when Giannis walked out on her, for having written a puff piece, where she said that if the Bucks don't at least make it to the finals? Fast forward two years later, and Bucks are NBA champs and Giannis is the finals MVP!
She has no problem with Ime Udoka's name being publicized yet when calls for the name of the women to be publicized, she claims that that's victimizing women and that we do not know all the facts. Well she has no problem bringing up past allegations/associations of men at critical points of their lives(ie when they are about to get drafted or when they are about to get a head coaching job). We do not know all the facts of those cases either.
The fact that she was trying to get Stephen A. from talking on his own show, just goes to show the incredible amount of nerve that this woman has. I was glad that he immediately put her in her place. She has managed to insult black athletes in a very casual manner and I cannot see that lasting much longer. I am sure that black male athletes will make it a point to avoid her at any cost now that they have seen what a toxic person she is. She is very attractive but being married to somebody like that would be a nightmare.

Look at it closely. The best NBA commentators are those who have played the game of basketball. They have been through every aspect of it. Those who cause the most controversy, male or female, are those who analyze it, talk about it, but never played it. That's a huge difference. It's like analyzing, explaining and talking about a pudding one has never tasted. We seldom listen to those who've never played the game, irrespective of their 'status' in the business.
Like Steven A said, malika is paid to do what she does and if she doesn’t she’ll be fired. I think that’s the case with ESPN(which is f’d up) but at the same time, I think she really enjoys that part of her job. She seems like a woman who hates on ALL men. maybe for some sht that happened in her childhood.

Sorry to say that ain't happening. Some one or some people in that company are promoting that at ESPN. Disney is a company that is pushing homosexual rights over civil rights so they promoted a cute Black women who isn't happy with own color and ethnicity and use her to demean and destroy the Black male athlete. What we have to understand there are some in every area since this countries inception.

Malika rose in the ranks at ESPN quickly because Rachel Nichols was unfortunately fired but ESPN. She was given NBA today which was hosted by Rachel Nichols. Also Maria Taylor who hosted many segments and shows at ESPN, left ESPN around the same time Rachel Nichols was fired for a sports gig @ NBC sports. The shows that Rachel and Maria hosted we’re all given to Malika Andrews. It’s unfortunate because both Rachel and Maria did an excellent job and never was contentious with their make counterparts on the show.
I wonder if she is asked about her alleged relationship with a co worker, how she’d feel.
Im glad Rachel Nichols is back. Melika hates men. If hes Black its 100% idk if she gonna last though. Soon as the black athletes start to realize how toxic she is and don't give her anymore interviews she's done and out of here.

If Steven A says Malika is doing her Job for reporting the news on the male athletes then do it for the women as well. I’ve never heard her say anything negative or dig in a women’s pass as much as she doesn’t the men .male athletes need to stay away from conducting any interviews with this woman . Stephen A has flipped on this. On one hand, he states that real journalists are obligated to tell the truth on matters, and then he says the boss told Malika Andrews to ask specific questions on draft night. Those two stances are in conflict. If the boss or editor (in the print news segment) feeds stories and questions, that's fine, but without context, common people can't discern the differences. Leading into the draft makes sense to report, and I his draft stock drops, it is fair to broach the question either before or during draft night.That provides context. Also Strphen A has said that he says what he wants and no person will stop him from doing so, including the boss, if his comments were not outside the lines. Maybe he is the only journalist with that type of allowance at ESPN.
