Each album explores music in a different way. Talented writers, lyrisists, musicians and their lead singer, Conor Mason, has maybe one of tge best voices I've heard. Nice guys too.

I Really liked 2NE1, I did listen to them way back when they where active.. this song 2NE1 sound and feel is really punk rock popish.. and deasung's version with kang seungyoon from winner is more rock and I like both versions.. CL and Dara where my favorites back then but I grew to love minzy alot to later on. But they all sound so different and really good that it is such a nice contrast. I was sad when they disbanded because I did like their music, but I was more drawn to male groups than female groups back then.. and nobody topped bigbang for me haha.. I love this rock style on daesung and his version is fire... thank you for this video T.. I enjoyed it like always.. I like this format to.. doing a originele vs cover type of video 😊❤

Minzy! Ok, I really like her voice. She's very very good! But you're right, they sound so different, which is great because you get a variety of ranges and tones. I don't know why they disbanded BUT I'm sure I'll find out soon for Blackjacks. When I get the opportunity, I'll do this format again. 😊💛

I love that these young women actually relied on their voices and talent and didn't just lay around almost naked, sucking their fingers and twerking with their butts in the air to sell their music like the female artists these days. (You don't see the men doing it.) I find that so offensive and degrading, and a huge backslide to the women's movement. (But don't get me started...) Anyhoo, love this band. And like BigBang, there will never be another group like them unfortunately. If you want a good chuckle, check out BigBang's cover of 2NE1's "I Love You".
Haha, I posted this comment before I finished the whole reaction. I'm glad that you agree with me about female artists. It's a turn-off and it's gone way too far recently. It's almost soft porn in some of those mv's and it actually makes me not want to support their music. You don't see the male artists pole dancing and playing with themselves and wearing g-strings (ok, not that it would be a bad thing?...lol, kidding!)
I'm all for sexy, don't get be wrong, but for me it has to make sense and be tastefully done. Otherwise it's either laughable or doesn't interest me. For me I like to start off with musical talent first and then everything else is just gravy.

@@tdragonreactions Yes, to a point, if it's in context with the song and isn't just 4 minutes of tastless soft porn. I've tried to watch some recent female mv's and I have to say I was very disappointed with the direction a lot of them seem to be going in. Just yuck. Like I said, the men seem to be able to sell themselves and look hot without crawling around sucking their fingers and showing us their brazilians, like I've seen in mv's lately. Actually in general, it seems that the female artists try to sell themselves sexually constantly throughout their videos, even if it isn't blatantly pornographic. Why is that?? How has it come to that? How have so many young women come to the point these days where they can't just market their talent without tying it into their f*ckabilty and their looks? Not ALL of them, but the vast majority. It upsets me. It erases the decades of effort not to be objectified that we older women have fought for. I remember a staff meeting in the 70's at a busy sandwich/lunch restaurant I worked at. We were told by the male manager that if we didn't come to work in full makeup and "attractive clothing" we would lose our jobs, because men coming for lunch "didn't want to see what they'd left at home". I'll stop now.

I'm fine with women artists sexuality when it seems like a creative expression of their personality and fits with the song - like CL. She owns it.
Not so keen when it just seems to be added to the routine for its own sake. Imo, male SK artists may not always be as overt as some of the female artists, but they also use their sexuality to appeal to the fans and viewers. In the comments section they also often get more comments about their attractivness than the music. Not sure if that is a 😢 or a😅.
@@Em-ah I totally agree with you about CL. I don't get a yuck impression from her because her performances aren't in poor taste and inappropriate to the gist of the song she's singing. She would also look screaming hot dressed in a potato sack. It's when an mv is nothing but flashes of suggestive poses that have nothing to do with the song that I lose interest in the credibility of the artist/s. As to the men, if they are getting comments about their looks it's not because they writhe around on the floor posing. Take GD for example. Hotness personified. All he has to do is take off his glasses, fgs. This is the point I am trying to make about how women today are objectifying themselves and it is not to their benefits in the long run. They can be beautiful and sexy and still be classy. I'm just not seeing that.

One thing I wanted to add is this..maybe a few things... .I don't think we should blame the puppets all of the time (the female idols in this case), because it's the puppet master that's pulling the strings (mostly men but I heard there are some female execs too). But until they reach a certain height in their career, and popularity, they have no say in what they wear... Then you can extend that to what they do in their personal lives, what they eat, dating, etc etc etc. Even the most popular ones still have to adhere to the company's rules.
There are huge sacrifices that these artists make. I know it's their choice but still... It doesn't mean that it's right to treat the idols this way. It's beyond strict. I think the music industry, globally, in general is messed up...
Lastly, they say that sex sells for a reason. It does.
I also don't think we can compare male idols with the female idols because sexuality is expressed differently in men and women I think. But also, Taeyang being topless all of the time is the same as a female idol wearing lingerie or something that looks like it. I just want to be careful that we're not being harder on the female idols bc they are female.
