@@jxstified7558 Cheeks? It's f***ing rancid is what it is. I've played it throughout 2016-2020 It was "something" back then that i actually enjoyed playing. No one in their right mind can be lovingly tell me they enjoy OW. Especially now with OW2 and the state of blizzard
BG3 is legitimately the best game I have ever, ever played.

@@keiztratI agree. I played OW back then too and after 2019-2020 it really fell off for me. Probably the reason I stick to mostly single player games now.

@@satakrionkryptomortisits better not to use reckless attack because you can choose to use it after you miss an attack instead to reroll and if you hit it without reckless you don't get the debuff

to be fair, most characters even good would be super uncool with a vampire/alien attacking them after being taken in as allies. That's a dealbreaker for any non-companion, so really it's metagaming to not kill them
@@jeepersmcgee3466 I let him bite me. So I can use him later to get a powerful strength item. win/win. The debuff from bite lasts a day. If if I dont want to wait, I just leave camp. Come back and sleep again. lol No

It's crazy to me that there are still quests and NPCs that I just completely missed with my multiple upon multiple playthroughs of at least act 1. BG3 is the gift that keeps on giving.
I mean when the game supposedly has 17000 diffrent endings its no surprise you keep finding new things

@@marbleherogaming735 It's the same kinda marketing that companies do with RGB products where they allow millions of color possibilities. In this case they take into account every possible specific outcome for each of your companions - so I'm sure there definitely at least 17k permutations, but only a small subset of endings to the core story.

Idk who edited this video but I have not laughed this hard at a video for a long time. Thank you so much for bringing these amazing edits, sound effects and stories into my life.
I admire the hell out of the commitment to the one rule. If I'm truly making roleplay decisions and not metagame decisions, a vampire or alien attacking me at my own camp is a death sentence for them. But knowing they're followers who can be corrected, I never have the nerve
930 hours, those are rookie numbers. Gotta bump those up
Keep in mind: They started their playthrough some 3 months ago. So those 930 hours weren't up until now but up until then, which was about 3 months after release.
Mines just over 300hrs but I started on the new year 😂

I dunno I kinda respect the kill on Astarion, the Owl bear cub was overkill but killing a vampire that just tried to attack you in your sleep is a pretty reasonable reaction.
The lae'zel one was a bit silly as well. Considering she did not actively try to kill you, but it's still somewhat reasonable.
Astarions choice was purely selfish. He could’ve continued hunting boars and other wildlife in the forest but gave into temptation. He will even outright kill you if you still let him bite but don’t keep him on a short leash. Lae’zel attacks only when she correctly sees that you’re beginning to transform into a illithid. Honestly a mercy compared to the pain of transforming and living the rest of your days as a tentacle slave.

@@jwall1646 I let him keep feasting on my neck and he stopped when I asked him to (succeeded persuasion). Astarion killing you is a skill issue.
@@jwall1646in his origin playthrough, he has a nightmare where Cazador mocks him and says he still has control over him. Astarion decides to see if he can break one of the rules, which is to feed on anything sentient. Should he have tried to feed on you without consent? Obv not. But it was a trauma-based decision, not purely “ooh what delectable snacks I have here”, and he respects the limit of feeding on enemies only afterwards
The voice actor said he based Astarion on a stray cat that took him 2 or 3 years to befriend
@@Hexer404 understanding WHY he’s evil doesn’t excuse THAT he’s evil. As you’ve just said “he decides” to use us the player for his own selfish goals, whether maliciously or not.
Also I’m sure he’s just fine with only feeding on enemies as 1) it means keeping the rest of the party off his back and 2) I’m doubtful one’s morality comes through in the taste of blood.
He’s a phenomenally written & voiced character, he just blows for 70% of the game if you’re not romancing him.

I also killed Astarion, once when he wanted to take over all vampires and on the 2nd playthrough when he tried to drink my blood without my consent, and then in the third playthrough, I just ganked his ass on the beach.
let's stop simping and metagaming for two seconds and think: he attacks you when you meet him, he lies about who he is, and then he tries to drain you in your own camp after being taken in. That's a dead vamp

To be fair if you don't take him out and hear his hilarious commentary i could see someone feeling like he's just a threat to everyone at camp

Just finished my main play through after two months last night with friends and loved every second of it. Glad to see flats experiencing this masterpiece of a game
Can't wait to see your next episode! This playthrough is full of perils, screw-ups and very "barbarian" centric decisions. One of the funniest and role accurate playthroughs I've seen!

My game has arrived, let's go! Been running dnd games for years and playing BG3 since it's Early Access was released way back when, I would give anything to experience this game for the first time again so I love seeing folk do just that. Loved the Travis Cameo 23m in as well, top tier.
I am glad you have a guide who wants you to have an authentic experience but also the fact that they dictated your stats and didn't give you a better Dex score (esp as a barbarian) is killing me.

Rogue, being the actual sneakiest class, is not on the flow chart so it can surprise attack you in the character creation menu.

When Wither asked me what is the worth of a single mortal life in my playthrough i was SO SCARED, like i thought he was asking what my life was worth and if i didnt answer as he wanted my character would just die.
edit: I'M SO MAD, i missed the amulet on Kaga and it would be perfect for my barb, since i have the shattered flail equipped id literally have the passive active forever
