@@klpihl Muh boy Ornn ain't no monster. Look at that big floof and tiny face! How could you call that a monster? If I had to categorise Ornn I'd lump him in with the other totemic animal god characters like Kindred, Anivia and of course Voli: although they are powerful and feared, they're also respected and represent a necessary part of nature - unlike monsters.
The last true monster champ we got was Rek'sai, although Pyke is monstrous in theme despite being a human(-shaped thing). And yes, it is about high time we got another cool monster champ: it could be a Void creature, a demon, something from the deep sea, there're a lot of possible ideas for Riot to expand on. I hope they do.

@@yatta6620 Gwen? People mostly love her, she fits the lore and seems fun to play and easy to understand. There were a few haters at first, me included, but as for me, she seems like she's at least interesting.
Seraphine? Her whole lore is a mess (so bad actually, that it had to be redacted ASAP), her design doesn't fit neither Piltover, nor Zaun, her kit is literally just better Sona + a bit of Lux, but the worst thing is, she is so much of a cash grab character, that Riot didn't even tried to hide it - they make her first skin an Ultimate, instantly got her into K/DA instead of the characters we love already, made her a Twitter account, establishing the personality of her skin before establishing the personality of the actual character. Oh, and don't even let me start on how much of a hypocrite she is, using the brakern souls to fuel her damn hoverboard, and then preaching about how much of a goody-two-shoes she is, while also giving tons of self-centered and narcissistic remarks to other champions.

I think they did a pretty good job here balancing her goal due to her lore with her more reason to protect the world than Isolde by making her curious about the world.

@@malphite8797 I think Gwen has more personality than Seraphine. Seraphine has stupid lines such as "maybe the world just isn't ready for me, I'll wait" or something like that. All Seraphine's lines say "Oh look at me I'm a popstar" which I would be OK with if she showed personality beyond that. Seraphine comes across as self absorbed (as shown in the example line I had given) and is annoying to listen to.
Gwen shows how she wants to please Isolde through some lines but at the same time she has lines that give more to her than the fact she is a doll come to life. She shows genuine curiosity saying how she wishes she could see a mountain up close or asking what the desert is like. She also is shown to be resilient talking about how she wants to protect the world and how she can't afford to fail. This comes across as just more about how she wants to please Isolde but due to the other lines we know it is also because she is curious and wants to learn more.
I feel Gwen's personality and goals are definitely more well done and represented in voice lines compared to Seraphine.

It's kinda a shame cause they could go really dark with her, I mean she is riding around on a dead Skarner and she is capable of hearing emotions (which kinda made it impossible to trust any human), originally including the stage she is riding on, and that wasn't a good feeling. Meaning everything hextech would be screaming agony for her. And yet still she did the thing to try to make a place that was livable for her around humans, while being uncaring about the crystals pain.
Now they just made her completely unaware of all that and unable to detect the Skarners and all flowers and singing and positively *shallow as all hell*.

She would have been a much more believable member for K/DA.
I mean, nor Ahri, Akali, Evelynn nor Kai'sa were singers in the original Runaterra. Why would it have to be that way for Seraphine, unless she was created as a K/DA member prior to her, supposed, original version.
In contrast, Gwen is a cute girly character with an actual interessting lore in the original Universe, that would have fit as the dreamy fangirl. Even they could have given her the role as fashion designer for the band.

Naaah, they did a wonderfull job, everyone hates her since she's in game, she's a masterpiece
They didn't do a wonderful job. Lore wise Sera isn't rlly doing anything. I do like her kit but IMO she still kinda replaces sona just because that ult range is ridiculously long.
@@sharkblal Her story isnt that bad but it lacks motivation. you can sum up her story as "Seraphine one day decided "Hey! I am gonna unite Zaun and Piltover with my music now!" A motive is missing here. They tried to give her some motivation by making her and her parents move to piltover from zaun but thats the only thing I can count as a motive. She is lazily written and her story needs some additions but as a champion in the game she is really fun to play.
@@sharkblal gameplay wise yes I love playing her its super fun to just ult the enemy team and then erase them from existence but lore/story wise she is just badly written a little rework to her story is necesary
She should have interactions with the old models champions, offering a new look
