Length of rotor blades?
I’m thinking about getting my sport license but have concerns about how fast those tower guys talk and that static sound in headphones they also sound like car Auction guy where it’s hard to make out what the tower guys are even talking about or who to.
Does it get any easier to understand the tower guys as your are at the beginning stages of training?
Hi Ron ! A big Chapeau for your video's !! Question : I do fly from a 885ft gras strip. So after I pre-rotate up to 200rpm and backstick I give full power. So I can't affort slowely building up thre RPM.
I put more emphasis on the slow rotor blade spin up after the pre rotation has been released at 225 RPM to encourage the student from the beginning to get a better feel of rotor blade spin up transition with throttle coordination.
In the military the mechanics that worked on the rotors called those the Jesus nut, because if the nut came off they would say oh Jesus.
Taxi with the stick aft ?
cyclic always full forward, rotors stopped when taxiing
