    Thank you so much sir. I was fighting with this problem since I bought Lg fully automatic washing machine. It’s been 15 years. Whenever someone touch or hit the tab it’s start leaking. I fought for days to fix it. Recently we renovate our house and one labour removed the pipe without asking me. Since yesterday I was fighting to fix the tap but failed I was very sad.       Ur not using correct faucet.. Buy new faucet especially for washing machine.. Can buy plug n play type faucet without need to screw the adapter..

    Thank you. I was struggling to fix the leakage for an hour and this came to my saviour. There was a little gap after removing the white plastic part above that black rubber part but it didn't create a problem.

    I used a technic which was shown by technician.
    The key is to fix it, is you have to
    1) Pre-tight any 1 screw out of 4 screws (medium tightl), it should be facing to the wall.
    2) Then install the connector with teflon ring (Connector should not wobble while installing it).
    4) Tight rest of the 3 screws very tightly.
    5) Then screw the another plastic connector very tightly as much you could (Inner rubber ring of the 1st connector should be slightly pressed).

      This is standard technique to fix new adaptor as you mentioned.
      In this video I tried to fix it when rubber washer is old and its nominal thickness is reduced due to constant compression

    Worked for me after removing the teflon and the black rubber. Is it okay to remove both?

      If your remove rubber washer then there will be no sealing effect and water will leak heavily.
