Some people say that the missing camera is a disadvantage, but I think it's an absolute win!

Literally the perfect phone for someone who wants a dumb phone with some modern amenities. Its a massive shame that this doesn't work in the US.

@@JoseBrioneshow is the battery life compared to the f21 pro? Given than this one has 1700mah battery and f21 pro is about 2200mah so quite a lot larger battery. If you were using for 1 hour calling per day + half hour text which of these 2 phones would last longer before recharge? How much better is the keyboard on the f22 non pro vs the f21 pro?
I think it's more of a 9-key smartphone than a dumb phone

Hello, i just bought a f22 some days ago. Today it arrived and im having issues with the typing experience. I only want to use the physical typical t9 keyboard, but instead of having the “qin pad” option for this, i have a “duoquin ime” one. The problem is that it uses predictive text, it doesn’t let me, for example, double click the 4 key to write the letter h, it just adds two letters. I’ve been going through the definitions for some time but i can’t seem to turn this off. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you :)

This is probably what I've been looking for. I like my old 2G Nokia, but sometimes it would be nice to have Whatsapp, Discord and some kind of navigation app. Just gotta buy a small camera. :D

my nokia 6300 4g also has wifi hotspot capability but it is practically useless. It just doesn't provide the internet speed that a different phone with sharing would -- I wonder if behaves the same way?

I think you can ask for the Google Play version and they'll flash it for you before shipping. I don't think it's as easy as installing an apk, because Play Store & Services need to be system apps.
What about performance? Only 2gb od ram, with bad software it can be an issue :/

Whats the main differences between f22 and f21 pro? Only camera? Both runs android 11 so I don’t quite get why you prefer f22. No flashlight - that’s a bummer too
Main difference is that it’s hardware. Software wise they are very similar. I don’t care about cameras and such, so for my use case I think it’s better than the F22 pro. Similar to the F21, it’s a toss up and either is fine with me.

Could you do a comparison between the f22 and f21pro? I like the f22 but no camera is a dealbreaker…nowadays between qr codes and regular day to day use having a camera is a must
I haven’t used a QR code since 2020. You can live without them, but yes it is a bit of an inconvenience. The F21 Pro is a better choice if you need a camera.

@boreksigar lots of resturaunts in my city have digital only menus and they use QR codes (this is TN, USA). Also posters advertising community events use them all the time. Sometimes use it to sign up for things. These days if I see info about a website they will add a qr code. I guess people in your area didn't pick them up but some towns really ran with them.
I just gotta say idk what these guys are talking about. My town is covered in QR codes. Every poster has one, some restaurants have digital only menus after covid and they use qr. Not to mention when I was at college where once again they were used for everything

Buy the Google play version. You can delete apps whenever and whichever ones. AliExpress.

Technically yes, but you have to configure a lot of it.
Apps like "MyOldBoy" is able to detect controllers inputs and you can personalize inputs as you want. Do you think it can detect numbers and direction inputs? Sorry for asking that but I really would like to buy this phone for emulating

Both are fine and will last a long term. I’d advise you to look at the different functions they have. The AGM M7 is android and the 800 tough is KaiOS. Choose one, they both will last. If I had to choose, I’d go with AGM in my opinion.

Hello Jose, great review - I now have an F22 pro and have worked out many of the buttons (as cannot find anything user manual in english on internet) but when typing an SMS if I make a mistake could anyone tell me which key to use to delete spelling mistakes as its simple I am sure!! but I am frustrated trying to work it out, many thanks folks
Hello :) From what I can see in the video, he uses the star key (*) in the bottom left corner of the phone to delete spelling mistakes. Does this work for you?

hola jose, exelente video, voy a comprar el f22 o el f21 pro, y tengo 2 dudas, como funciona el teclado cuando el dispositivo esta en español, funciona bien los acentos y la letra Ñ? sabes si no hay problema con el permiso de Mostrar sobre otras aplicaciones, en android go no funciona tal permiso, Por ende las aplicaciones que lo necesitan no funcionan bien, por eso descarte de comprar el cat s22 flip por que trae android go, espero que puedas responder

No hay problema con el permiso de mostrar sobre otras apps. El teclado en español no es facil de usar con las teclas. Lo tienes que usar con la pantalla tactil por ahora.

Call i make whatsapp calls on the f22? I never had any interest in the smartphone but recieved a present of the samsung s6 3yrs ago and fing it very awkward! I only use the internet on it for whatsapp, accuweather and too good to go. I've also got a petrol price app but i don't drive ... its only for my mother. I want to get rid of this smartphone but my contacts all use whatsapp!

Xiaomi sounds really great especially for all the hype you’ve been giving it in the last few videos but haven’t there been some serious concerns brought up in terms of data collection & tracking? Would love to be able to go for this device but seems not worth that kind of privacy breach.
I have these concerns too. Not just because it's from China, but also because the versions sold on aliexpress have mostly been hacked to allow the Google Play Store for example. These sellers could easily install keyloggers too, right? Or am I just paranoid?
I ordered the phone reviewed in this video but I am not 100% sure what apps exactly I want to install on the phone when it arrives.
@DK98123 I think it looks very cool and it's close to perfection but in the end there are a few annoying things that make me use it only sporadicly for a few weeks and then switch to my iPhone again. If you're living in the EU I can send it to you for a good price.
-low specs (it lags (!) and crashes (!!) while scrolling through big Spotify playlists)
-No physical Volume button
-I couldn't get GPS/Google Maps to work (but didn't research a lot on this topic either)
-Small battery
-No Camera (Its sometimes kind of necessary to have one on your phone these days)
-I don't really use the physical buttons to be honest
