JH showing how much he cares for his people. WE messed up... that's an easy over sight 100% when your in the grove of working along diligently with that gasket and it had to come off again anyways. Don't sweat the little stuff, Justin has been a great addition man! Congrats and keep growing!
hey man I'd highly recommend using a filter box from Racing in the Dirt instead of that hat with those tiny filters that go in em, they arent near big enough. or ditch the small filters in that hat and use one of those bird catcher air fliters that go on the opening
Hey JH, You should make up a small piece of lexan and mount it on the hood just in front of the scoop. That way you will still see it but it will stop water getting thrown straight in the scoop.
Hey JH. It wasn't your or Justin's fault? It was the chinese man that made that intake LOL Anyway guys lesson learned turned out perfect can't wait to see it in action
JH it NEEDS a crank support. Easiest way I know is to mount a pointed tip piece of steel into a bearing build a case around the bearing and use a combo of the front 2 oil pan bolts on each side with atleast one central support near your Engine accessories. All you have to do is get the Needle to sit in the small divet on the crank or if you don’t have a centre hole like for a traditional crank pulley drill a 1/4-3/8 hole in your blower pulley
Blower is pretty easy really. Boost is often linked directly to your RPM. Cause the super charger is spinning pretty much all of the time, and instantly responds when you hit the throttle. That's it's main advantage. You trade efficiency for instant response.
The sxs blog dude argued with me saying turbos were better for mud bogging. I said a supercharger would be. All that torque and power lower in the rpm range, almost immediate response, no turbo lag. Pretty sure they never finished it either.
@@Berm_Blaster Well, small turbos would be suitable for mud bogging. Those Ford turbo trucks have torque that comes on around 1000-1200 rpm and it stays through the entire rev range. You can make it work either way if you do your math right. Superchargers are just cool and make vrrr vrrr sounds. :D
Been there. Intake gaskets. Had to go to the auto parts store a few times to get the right ones. They kept giving me oval port ones of different sizes. Had to get big rectangular port ones for 990 heads we was running
When you guys bog it, you better run the scoop backwards. Or build a box around it like your man said… 👍 Also, don’t worry about the belt when hot… It’ll do what it’ll do. As long as there’s 3/4” of play both ways from the belt’s neutral position it’s fine… When the belts good and warm it’ll be almost 0 play… perfectly normal… 👍
Any gear that looks good on dry grass will be to tall once in the muds. So may not be to much gear. But that rev limiter does suck hitting so hard. Just seems like limiter to limiter. Gotta try an figure out a soft limiter or something
I wish my 02 2500hd fame wasn’t rusted out and I had my car done because mine is even the same color and it would be nice to build a little brother to this truck
Spin the hat around and put a scoop on it. That's what the drag boat guys do. Sam is everywhere. Such a great guy. And last of all, this is your stuff don't worry about what people say.
Love how its not just a singular mistake but team mistake thats how you build a crew right there mistakes happen and props to justin tryin to own that shit anyone thats done a build knows sometimes on reassembly you get that tunnel vision and miss small shit like that
Hey Jake long time watching love the truck watch out with that blower cap you have I've seen them hang the throttle wide open many of times he kept the content love watching
If everything goes smooth, runs perfect and don’t run into any BS it always worries me because 9.9/10 times there’s always an issue when I’m trying to do something! That things bad ass
I love by diesels, big turbo 4cyl and small blocks but something about a built bigblock is very special... If you have never been in a built even mild bigblock its hard to explain. Heck even if its not making as much power as a non bigblock built they still give you a different kind of rush haha.
That thing sounds amazing can’t wait to see what you come up with to keep mud out of that blower hat lol I hope it last awhile I think it’s going to tear the mud up
I think that intake you got from that dude was a builder spec intake. Meaning it must be machine to your spec. A lot of aftermarket performance parts, Chevrolet has oval port and rectangular Port heads, you can buy these and many configurations. Dart heads or world products will sell you a raw head or completely finished to your specs. I believe that other intake and be machined. Most builders with blowers will fire ring the block and the heads or one or the other. We all pay the price to learn. 🤑
love the videos, my only complaint would be to work on your audio levels when editing, even out the louder parts and the speaking parts, it goes from being super low to a extremely loud clip and hard on the ears. BUT LOVE the truck and the channel!
Do they make a dry filter cover like some k&n air filters have for dirtbikes have that fits over the front of the butterfly's? Might be something to look into
How does Sam magically appear everywhere! Every awesome video, Sam just boom appears. Like he needs some Ninja smoke boms! 😂
Because Sam more then likely helped them get the old carburetor engine going with the blower. He is a wizard lol
Carb tuning isn't easy, them old boys can tune by ear! Even if they can't hear so well its crazy.
Sam lives nearby pretty much neighbors
@@dingusmaximus6859 He put the 99's in it.
He’s very sneaky

Couldn’t say any better , love the realness and just chillin with da boyz
Thats what you get when your camera man is also your mechanic 😂
hey man I'd highly recommend using a filter box from Racing in the Dirt instead of that hat with those tiny filters that go in em, they arent near big enough. or ditch the small filters in that hat and use one of those bird catcher air fliters that go on the opening

Big smile for a diesel guy.
Awesome job
Got the JH diesel youtube shop looking good all clean and organized!! Good job Justin 👏 ( we all know witch Justin I'm talking about lol )
Nobody will ever see the hood up there anyway! Sounds killer!
Almost completely forgot about the limousine demo-drag-races a few years back!
Nice to see
Y’all having Sam around having fun
Put the blower scoop on backwards so nothing can fly in it.
Hell ya that things gonna rip through the mud pits hard its gonna b sick and sounds good
Love me some good ol' JH Gasoline & Hybrid!
I'd definitely put a air fuel gauge on her just to help keep the tune up good
We all make mistakes especially working long hours and trying to get something done on a time crunch thing sounds bad ass
9:35 justin laughing and hopefully laughing more and more this year in his dream job
I swear sam is everywhere. what a legend
Make a clear shield for it!!! Be sick! Make like a clear hood scoop!
I think the gearing looks all good for mud
It looks like a dang tonka truck. Love it
Turn the intake cover around facing the windshield
Today’s a good day. Whistlin diesel uploads JH diesel uploads Cletus uploads 🙏🏻 Keep up the hard work brother.
Two outa three, Whistling D just creeps me out, his vibe just makes me cringe.
1st channel you named sucks. Second two are far more entertaining
@@soupystevesguitarartsextra3697 He appeals to the honey boo boo crowd. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
@Soupy Steve’s Guitar & Arts Extravaganza. Lmao that's his whole point. Some along the lines of haters make ya famous
Big facts! I stopped what I was doin to watch all 3 😂😂
Gah damn a blown big block Chevy always sounds great!
sounds great but she in third before the fun starts. big thumbs up on this one for sure
Dude y’all killed it. Omg looks so bad ass
Blowers are positive displacement. It makes what it makes right off idle. Thats the beauty of them
Justin showing us the mistakes and owning them shows us what kind of guy he is. This is why i keep coming back to this channel.
Hey JH. It wasn't your or Justin's fault? It was the chinese man that made that intake LOL Anyway guys lesson learned turned out perfect can't wait to see it in action
That was beautiful 😍
Both y’all smiling ear to ear lol🏁truck looks sik boys🏴☠️
Nice work Men! Trial by error is Motorsports University...
Needs some zoomies now JH! Awesome job 💯🇺🇸
Man the sound of that thing is NUTS! Best sounding truck on the channel lol
Ripper y'all are Killin it easy oversight on the gasket, keep up the awesome work y'all!!!
Mr sam is everywhere in everyone's video's LoL 😂 what a great Guy
That thing moves out. Little more gear and it's going to be interesting. Can't wait to see it flinging dirt
It’s crazy how many times I hear the name Justin in the wrenching industry!! We’re everywhere!
It is what it is. Sounds awesome!

Cat eye ate it's torquey'Os.
Super chargers are frigging awesome.
Good old after market parts!! Welcome to the struggle bus! Lol never mind you been on that bus for years😂
Sounds great n it comes out the hood just the right amount!!!
This makes me so happy! Looks even better than I had hoped

Yeah I agree turn that blower hat around
Love the channel. Been with you guys since day 1. Awesome!

fucking AWESOME JH! WOOOOOOOOO!!!! and thank you to Holly for helping out!
Mr Sam out of nowhere!
Lmfao, right?! Fucking awesome Garrett brought him onto the team.
Sam just appears in random channel now. 😂
JH your channel has grown by leaps and bounds since I started watching. Keep up the good work!!
West Florida off-road can't wait to see yall there
Can't wait to see this thing rip through some deep mud
I wish my 02 2500hd fame wasn’t rusted out and I had my car done because mine is even the same color and it would be nice to build a little brother to this truck
Its cool seeing you guys go outta the comfort zone.
That thing looks sick!! Love it! Wow!! I need a truck like that!!
That truck is awesome 👌
Awesome job guys! Ron Burgundy is a bad mamma jamma now!!
Spin the hat around and put a scoop on it. That's what the drag boat guys do. Sam is everywhere. Such a great guy. And last of all, this is your stuff don't worry about what people say.
Thing looked like it was trying to run the front end over.
Sounds real mean.
That smile though!

Yall gotta do a side by side comparison with how it sounds
Hey Jake long time watching love the truck watch out with that blower cap you have I've seen them hang the throttle wide open many of times he kept the content love watching
Blowers just make what it makes and I know blower boost numbers aren’t comparable to turbo boost number to power
Haha Sam just appears when something, somewhere is going down
From what I know a blower produces mechanical boost so it’s instantaneous at whatever rpm you’re at.
Fix them butterflies that open about 8% and it’ll actually make some power. Sounds pretty wild!
Get it tuned!
Ron keeping it classy.
Telling Cleetus Legend Car Racing at Freedom Factory you guys all racing I would like see that
Hell ya.. Back with a bang 🔥🔥🔥 That Sound “Right”
If everything goes smooth, runs perfect and don’t run into any BS it always worries me because 9.9/10 times there’s always an issue when I’m trying to do something! That things bad ass
JH gasser and 4x4 back at it
I cant wait to hear this beast bogg
I see a hood scoop in the future.Florida gots lots of water the filters can only stop so much when its being drowned in rooster tails.
I love by diesels, big turbo 4cyl and small blocks but something about a built bigblock is very special... If you have never been in a built even mild bigblock its hard to explain. Heck even if its not making as much power as a non bigblock built they still give you a different kind of rush haha.
Another great video jh and Justin. I am having trouble with my f250 tranny.
Use three bond on the intake.
And seal the head bolts with thread sealant
expanded metal grill would b sick
I love how Sam randomly shows up in videos all over CZcams...
Boost + big block = power/fun lol!
Gotta let Dr tune em all ahold of that beast!
Ask Cleet what they did for George’s blower. They built that crank mount
Blower makes power right when you open the gas... pulleys change your boost
Man…. It would be so nice to love my job like you guys. JH out there treating his guy well and working with him. My “boss” is USELESS.
She's a ripper!
They make like water resistant material to cover the front of blowers and stuff and allows the motor to still breath and run
That thing sounds amazing can’t wait to see what you come up with to keep mud out of that blower hat lol I hope it last awhile I think it’s going to tear the mud up
We ride at dawn!
