I had a friend who passed a long time ago, he also was a huge fan. I'd just love to sit down with him and watch everything called Star Trek he didn't get to see.
Yes, indeed. But there are still many more, such as Robert Ellenstein from "Haven", Michael Pataki and Marsha Hunt, from the same episode "Too Short A Season", Ivy Bethune from "When The Bough Breaks", Ron Gans/Mart McChesney from "Skin Of Evil" and "The Ensigns Of Command", Peter Mark Richman from "The Neutral Zone", Bill Erwin from "Remember Me", Kim Hamilton from "Final Mission", Jean Simmons from "The Drumhead", Stefan Gierasch from "A Matter Of Time", Susan French and George D. Wallace from the same episode "Man Of The People" and Norman Lloyd from "The Chase".
I am struck that so many of the actors died within just a few years of their appearance in the franchise...and so many seemed to have died young. I have watched the various shows, seen countless re-runs. And although a cliche' these people live on through their performances. They will never die in that sense. In fact, they are still there right now, waiting to come alive again at the next viewing. That's not a bad legacy to leave behind.
Had no idea that Ned Romero from TNG's "Journey's End" had previously played the Klingon Krell in TOS "A Private Little War". Always learning something new!
@pdqmusic3873 And Tony Jay, who ALMOST married Lwaxana Troi in "Cost of Living". The only correct name was the actress playing the governess. She also voiced the twin eels in "The Little Mermaid"
