Excellent details, impressive steady monologue and proper camerawork
Very well done indeed.
@Solomon Theodore suck it
@Zaire Landry gtfoh..
OMG this is pure gold! I play a l lot of Knee shield guard, and always hunt for the kimura, but I tend to get smashed when I grab the 2 on 1. The belly button detail is what I was missing. Also the sweeps and other details are perfection. Thank you sir!!!
love the detail of the belly and deadlifting the arm, really solved my problem 👍🏼
I'm a kimura monster and these details are exactly what I needed. Thanks Coach!
i have been finding my self in a kimura grip a lot lately. that belly bottom at the elbow is gold.
love the rash guard
Nice work Professor Tom! When I started doing Jiu Jitsu yours was one of the first channels I found and I've been coming back ever since. Your content has helped my game so much. Thank You!
Awesome Eddie 🙏
I completely agree- I found Tom 6 months in to my BJJ journey and (shh) he’s my absolute favorite coach and secret weapon.
I’m a 48 year old 2stripe white belt that has found a fondness for Kimuras. This is a great video! THANK YOU!!!
Awesome, and very well presented.
so glad i found your channel.....love the videos!
Great content and great camera work. Loved it. Keep it coming.
Thank you so much, will try to remember while rolling

Excellent details as per usual. Love the new graphics too
You’re very articulate, so easy to grasp things when you explain so well, great vid

The rash guard looks cool too.

It's simple. I see. I click

Last video I saw you were still "Coach" Tom so congrats on your promotion! You should do a seminar in Houston some time!
Awesome! Will try it next time, hope to visit one day!

Thank you for your videos coach! Greetings from Mexico!
Prof Tom, your vids absolutely rock. So glad I found them. Thanks heaps for all the awesome advice.
Good stuff. Hopefully see ya in San Diego
Amazing details and many stuff that I didn't know. Going to practice on the mat soon .
Awesome video and great explanations, deffo watch out for more of your videos
This is awesome. I picked up a bunch of stuff from this and taught this for our mixed-level class this week. Thanks!
Amazing you’re really helping my game def my favourite teacher!🔥
your teaching is excellent!
Awesome video !!
No doubt, you are one of the best instructors I have ever seen.
Thank you very much for all your videos .
We just went through this sequence this week in class. Nice details thanks.
Absolutely love your videos. Not too much information in a video that might cause confusion, exactly the right amount and great explenation. Thanks!
That was an excellent instructional
Nice!! Learned a lot watching this 🤙🏼
That was pretty damn amazing 👌. Thank you for showing the added variations
If you like this you should check out the kimora video by lachlan giles.
Awesome video.
Love your videos man.
As always awesome content 👍
Literally my favorite move and guard, caught so many ppl in this
Thank you for this from 🇺🇸 LA
love it :) thanks for the content.
Did someone say Kimura👀! Great stuff Professor, I may not be able to pull off an Aussie rash guard but I do need to order a South Coast T shirt🤙🏻 Your channel is looking great
Obrigado!
Love your videos definitely my favourite BJJ CZcamsr! From the UK 🤙
Excellent
Great video! I really like how you break down the smallest details of this move
Thanks so much for ALL of your great videos. You might be the most concise and informative instructor on CZcams. I say concise because you cover all the important details but don’t drone on and on endlessly about unnecessary details. Short, sweet and to the point.
🙏🥋
Some helpful points, great video. Everytime i try kimura attacks from bottom Z guard against experienced guys, they just take there outside knee and pin my bottom arm.
Yah when that happens that leaves their base even weakier for the sweep.
I wish this dude still made videos
Professor Tom is the best bjj instructor on CZcams.
🙏🥰
Hey coach, can u cover craig Jones leg lock game from z guard please and thank u 🙏, wonderfull video as usual
Craigs got plenty of free content on yt about this.
Love the rashy!🥰
The persons elbow who is closest to their body will get the kimura. That is so helpful!
Loving your videos professor, I've just returned to BJJ after 5 years and they are really helping. Do you have any plans to visit the UK?
My gym partners hate me for using your stuff in our Judo rolls haha keep it up
I'm starting to dream in kimuras
Wow this guys is amazing I wish there were a black belt at my gym
Great advice, always. Why you opening up in NY??
thanks!! i often get stuck here.
god job oss
Great work on the details. You are right, just trying to yank their arm a couple times is hard, I just tried. 🤣
I am interesting in gaining some muscle weight to my game and wonder if you would be willing to share som simple steps on how to power lift, and what kind of power lifting exercises you recommend for maximum Bjj-gain? Love this channel!
Noooice!
Great video but better hair game! 💪🏽suave
You also have option for head scissor if he rolls. I have thick legs and love using that submission
Hi coach Tom, firstly thank you for all your contents you are my favourite online coach. Just one question should I be practicing knee shield on both sides ? Or just get really good on one side ? Thanks again mate I appreciate all of your videos.
Epic
Tom your videos are so great thanks man. Can you do a video on balancing lifting weights whilst also practising BJJ, myself and another bigger guy who lifts keep getting totally burnt out and I'm sure it's because we are doing both. I'm generally doing about 6 hours on the mats and 2 low volume lifting sessions, last time with my schedule I did some heavy squats (low vol) and other basic accessories then straight off to 2 hours BJJ and it put me on my ass for the whole week, totally drained. Anyone else in the comment section feel free to advise a please :)
I wanna buy those rashguards!
what do you do for leg day?
Thanks so much for the video. It's awesome! Question though if I may, I been catching the kimura from z guard, but there were multiple times where my partner was defending really well and then would smash me on my back and then go north/south on me. I was still on bottom with the kimura lock. Is there something I can do to recover or is it time to bail? Thank you so much.
Don’t let them out of your guard but if they pass use the kimura rollover!
Thanks so much!
Dear professor Tom, at 5:22, I tried to understand this technique as a variation of sweeping from butterfly guard, I found this makes the tech much easier to follow
Excellent details. 👏🏾
Where can you find those rash guards? Googled Grapple Apparel and didn't see any clear link?
I think it's silly how the rules allow you to grab your own shorts in mma yet no one does it especially in this instance
I've frequently been taught to keep my shielding leg's foot on their hip. I don't see that happening here. Pros or cons to either approach?
i guess you are trying to say when he goes after z guard right? If thats the case the left foot goes under to bridge since you have already locked the kimura position
I am referring to anytime in halfguard with the knee shield in place.
Felt like a 3-D movie when he put his navel on the elbow!
Zed guard 😂
