  • See what gasoline looks like after setting in a tank for more than 20 years. Restoration of the fuel system. I will remove the gas tank and the fuel pump then refurbish them.

    I sold my 64 3 years ago, I now have a 63. The earlier , the better.
    BTW I'm in So Oregon, where are you ?

      Thank you for you comment. I'm hoping to get this 64 gutted and painted by the fall. That way I can spend the winter in the heated garage putting it back together. I am in Monroe WA, It's about 50 miles Northeast of Seattle.

    The fuel pump should be a SU fuel pump, not Lucas. That pump looks like an aftermarket replacement.

      You're right I mis-spoke. As I get older it happens more and more. Yes, the Bendix is standard on other European cars, but the SU is True. We'll see what to go with when (if) I get around to putting this car back together. Thanks for your comment.
