- Tacoma is a city in Washington state, on the banks of Puget Sound, south of Seattle. It's known for the Museum of Glass, which has works by renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly among its exhibits. These include installations on the Chihuly Bridge of Glass. The Tacoma Art Museum has a strong Northwest regional focus. The Washington State History Museum features hands-on exhibits, plus a vast model railroad.
I live in Tacoma, it’s such a Beautiful city! There are it’s positive and negatives, but overall, it’s a great place! There’s amazing scenery, beautiful landscaping, and some good people!❤️
@@reneebeltran7628 sorry for responding late, but a good place to go to is dukes sea food. It’s a good restaurant!
Where would you reccomend for cost? I do want to live on the wet side of Washington but want to be close to seattle due to wanting to go to film school. Would you say its worth it to go to Tacoma?
How's it for homeless people?
@@RykersRange Tacoma is good because you have access to the train to Seattle. If you don't mind the hour long train ride both ways (and relatively infrequent service). The drive from Tacoma to Seattle is an absolute nightmare and bus service, while more frequent, is almost as slow as driving.
I’ve walked the entire Tacoma downtown city it is truly a beautiful site to explore you get to visit great coffee shops and the ppl are nice .
I love Tacoma Washington 🥰🥰💞💞
Great video! I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I have a question for folks that lived in Tacoma in the 60's..Where is a steep road by a cliff coming down a hill by the sea water? Where was the large octopus you could view off a peer? and lastly, Where was Steve's Gay 90's located? My father was stationed at McCord AFB and we lived up on Fern Hill... I was 10 at the time...
Is Tacoma always this calm and quiet?
you never actually went to Hilltop in this video. Tacoma Ave isn't really Hilltop, imo.
It looks a little like Pittsburgh but Portland does too.....Tacoma is if Pittsburgh and Portland, Oregon had a baby.....
It feels a lot more like Pittsburgh than Portland.
is Tacoma a safe place to raise a family?
Stay toward North Tacoma or University Place. You should be okay.
safer than Chicago or a lot of other places.
I no it’s safer then Louisiana are any other southern state
Yes, Tacoma has worse areas like any other city, but the same kind of socioeconomic factors will apply. Tacoma does have a strong diversity of people, incomes, and experiences... plus it's in a beautiful part of the country.
I think you should think before dissing Hilltop. SMH
