OK- So I'm a tad confused. When you set the saw blade to 67.5 degrees what was actually a 22.5 degree angel (90- 67.5 = 22.5) But then when you cut the other side you said to cut it at the same 22.5 degrees. However, does that mean that you left the saw blade at 67.5 degrees or you actually reset the saw blade at 22.5 degrees? Dumb question perhaps, but I'm just having trouble seeing it in my head.
When you cut the 22.5 degrees on the other side it allows the shape of the triangle on the flat face of the other board I am going to say your questioning my ideas makes it hard for me to figure out hahaha always like a question that makes me think thank you

What if you don't have a table saw to do this ??
I think it would be possible to cut it with a skillsaw
Or you can even butt joint it. Also miter saw maybe
