What if you don't have a table saw to do this ??
I think it would be possible to cut it with a skillsaw
Were you able to make all four of those out of the four boards you bought? Or did you have to buy more?
I Honestly can't remember I think that the what I bought was just enough to make 4 of those.
I just got one of these. I got the 10w please what settings did you use in burning that picture in to the ceramic tile. I want to do more of those for my business please help me
I just watched the video I didn't use a ceramic tile I don't think I ever used this where I make one I did use a Home Depot free floor sample one time And that's some sort of plastic.
@@CraftedbyRay ohh okay.. you are right... but anyway can you help with the settings for working on porcelain especially?
Yes I can help I would be glad to help what do you want are you working with first
@@CraftedbyRay okay... I want to be engraving headstone on porcelain tile. Is really lucrative over here. I wanna tap into that market. Please help Ray
@lawrenceowusu7844 Okay, I will look into this. When I get home, I am at work ATM. We will figure it out
Hi how many coats for a thick restaurant table look? Like 7 or more? Not like a thick glass plate, but like a coat of water, a little less. Mine is golden oak stain so mid browns. and some yellows pop.
I would think you wouldn't need that many if I remember right at the piece of furniture. I made for that video only had 3 Coats on it and it held up pretty good to kids playing legos. I would try 3 to 4 and see how you like it.Good luck and let me know
@@CraftedbyRay hi thanks for your response. I did about 4 coats. It's functional. Next time I will choose a better quality of wood. I had trouble finding something thin, and low cost. Now that I have some experience in it. Not a difficult process and rewarding. This table was thrashed. I used this sanded plywood to cover an over sanded veneer. Thus grain visible looks brushed. It really shines in the center of the room though. Has a utility look great for a coffee or a beer..lol.. Imperfect but good..
@@Frank020 thanks for sharing I appreciate it 🙂 and I will take some time to get good at it but a table is a great place to start
@@CraftedbyRay the coating was great it's just the wood panel was not high quality. Lol happy with the results.. looks good. 😃
The music makes it hard to watch Sorry dude
I know sorry 😞 when I started I thought I needed it but I don't have music in my new video
Stupid question… How did you initially connect the second row of boards to the first? It appears in the video that these two rows/layers are connected before you stapled in the corner 1x’s.
Hahaha I don't remember I would have to watch it but I am working today sorry
Good job and project thx for sharing enjoyed it Keep building
Thanks 😊
Congrats on 5000 subscribers
Thank you! 😊 I can't believe it
good idea, pls let me know how they go at the sale good luck
Looks like a pretty hot item on ETSY!😮
I didn't check Etsy. I saw someone posted a picture like this on Pinterest. But maybe I'll see if I can sell them on Etsy. Thank you.
When selling them, they go with the cups and marker?
No, I will have one set up for display to show how it works
And I looked into that chair. I watched your video that things more complex than I can pull off good job though.
What camera do you use? I want my quality to be as crisp as urs one day
Gopro hero 11
Lol why would one need such a thing Ray? 😅.... i clicked just to see whats the deal, but i still dont get it... hehe great to see ur doing well 😂👍
My kids put cups all over and I don't know what is what lol at kids ' parties
Great video, had a request yesterday from someone requesting something similar to use at craft fairs for their booth
Thank you! 😊
Do you think this laser will cut black depron foam boards?
Sorry I don't know
Fab thanks !!
Your welcome 😊
Just some constructive criticism, sand your interior before glue up, your product will look more professional, recess your hinges so your finished lid is completely flat. And cut the rabbit in your lid before you cut it off, less chance of it breaking, Other than that, this was a nice build.
Thank you, and thanks for watching. I love the feedback.
Box looks good but not so much
Thanks 😊
The word is buTTon...why do younger folks think the T is silent? Possibly the education system?
Yes, and lack of sleep and full-time jobs plus doing this for fun. Sometimes I trip up on my words, but thanks for pointing it out.
Only the 2nd t is silent
Genius design dude and a really nice video production. Keep up the good work! All the best!
Thank you 😊
Good job and project thx for sharing enjoyed it looks great Keep building
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it I will be starting the next project tonight 🙂
Great work Ray!
Thanks 😊
i like your shop, looks pretty cool, almost same size as mine... have u ever done a shop tour?
Yes, I done a couple. I just don't like doing them because it's such a small spot. But thank you. I'll probably do one soon.
@CraftedbyRay ahh i see, let me check out ur channel, i will do one once i get to 1k subs 🤗🤗... i can feel it coming
hi there Ray.. pretty cool collapsible shelves.... u find it to have better viewer retention by not showing the intended project in the intro? i recently made a Tensegrity chair, i challenge u to make one aswell, lets make it trend on youtube again. 😃😃... il probably make myself one of these shelves, thanks for sharing Ray 👍
Thank you. I'll look into making that chair.
@CraftedbyRay awesome, can check the one i made, then go crazy with urs... its a pretty interesting concept
No one do what he did with the router.
I agree I need to stop doing that I was just doing it on some Bigfoots lol
gonna try the paste wax... thanks
Your welcome 😊
I was thinking of trying with a 1" thick table top to lighten up and make it easier to move. Do you think it would be thick enough for the pocket hole screws to grab?
Yes, one inch material would work. Just make sure you set your jig to the right depth.
Hi, I like the layout of your workshop can you tell me the dimensions please.?
Yes it is small but I make it work🙂 it is 10 ft by 16 ft
Ray,.I did it. First time with pocket holes. Not perfect but darn close. Much more confidence now for making more. God bless you and your family this Easter.
I'm so glad to hear that 😊 God bless you and your family. And happy Easter to you.
Not sure why you feel the need to tell us what you did right after doing it. Can’t take it anymore.
That is funny I guess I didn't realize that 😅
So pretty love the aesthetics of it!
Thanks
Amazing videos we love them!
Thanks
Ray, nice project, might make a few.
Glad to hear that! it is a fun project
Good job and project thx for sharing enjoyed it Keep building

How are you able to spray lacquer or anything else outside with snow and cold
I spray it and then I carry it inside to dry
I have to do what I can do in a small shop
Great project.
Thanks 😊
Cute project. And what a great shop. You have a lot you can do in that small space. Thanks for sharing this. This will also be a great scrap wood project. And I have tons!
Thanks so much, I am glad you like it 😊
Appreciate the 1x2 recommendation. Could you by chance make a video for projects only using miter saw cuts sometime? Either way, love the channel 🫡
Thank you 😊 I agree with the 1x2
That band saw cut could have been done on a miter saw. That was my thought as I watched because I don't have a band saw or anywhere to put one.
@@Book-Gnome That's a good idea. I just felt like the band's all was safer.
@@CraftedbyRay I agree it was the best tool for the job but we don't all have band saws. :(
Love the ladder. I'll try to make a few. Save yourself a little money. Buy a handheld sprayer from Harbor freight. Over a year or so you'll save a lot of money instead of buying rattle cans of your spray finish.
Thanks, I will check that out
Awesome work! I would just at least clamp of secure the router while you round the edges . A router table would work best . God bless
Yes, I need to stop using my router that way I do have a router table 😅
The way you were using that router looked awful unsafe, glad to see you had all your fingers at the end of video.
Yes, I need to stop doing that 😆
That pod holder turned out great my daughter uses coffee pods all the time great videos keep them coming
Thank you! 😊
After looking on Home Depot's website for the plastic liner, I went to my local HD and cannot find those liners. Any other source?
I'm not sure that's where I got mine. Maybe it's a seasonal thing.
