I prefer this format and pacing that Tyranth brings.
More to the point and less fluff
To each their own. I don't see Shad's videos as having fluff, and I quite enjoy them. Not to say I dislike Tyranth's, in point of fact, this is quickly becoming one of my favorite channels.
@@shawnwolf5961 with fluff I mostly mean his over-explaining of stuff he already made very clear.
(Most likely due to people having miss-quoted him in the past)
Or stuff like the helmet bit from one of the recent videos.
Shad sometimes has a tendency to go on a (unrelated) tangent.
Whereas it then often looks like Tyranth (or Nate) are nudging him on to move on to the next topic/step, but Shad lingers a bit too long.
Not hating, just my opinion. And I mean, I just fastforward those parts lately anyway so...

An interesting addition would be to have a 2nd switch/button that could launch the second billy club using either a spring or a CO2 canister. Would probably be pretty effective as a initial strike and since Daredevil has superhuman abilities he could easily aim it while running and catch it off the rebound. A high quality spring would probably be the better choice as it would not add too much weight or the need to replace a canister but CO2 could deliver a nastier punch
that... could be classified as a projectile weapon / gnu...
Interestingly enough there is a tool that Matt Murdock uses that is spring assisted, his walking stick.
In some of the comics (depending on the artist) daredevil's nuchucks were connected with a chain rather than a steel cable. Also, the comic version of the billy club could extend into a staff.
The wire may be useful as a choking tool.
Any stick or rope can do that, really

@@makimaki500 hands only are good for choking when coming from the front, it's surprisingly hard to choke someone from behind without using a stick or wire or another force multiplier
I never really thought of it but like you said weapons like nunchaku or flails have the benefit of increasing your reach while not being as much of a pain to carry as larger weapons.
It also allows the wielder to go around a block.
Ah Tyranth, my man! I have to tell you. Im watching Shad since he was like 20 vids in and when you guys arrived, I was happy, it was cool. And as the time went I was thinking many times damn, such a shame that guy Tyranth doesnt have a channel. He seems so cool and reasonable, I can agree with his views and seems to be good guy overall. And then I heard it in one of Shads videos and binge watched both! Im so glad. Thank you!!!

I really liked this. Obviously, Daredevil being blind and having superior senses and touch, can likely have the tiniest of Braille or difference in the buttons to tell them apart. Probably fair for us mere mortal to have a different colored or shaped button. If this is ever revisited, I really liked those bounce throws and maybe some more of those where you try and bounce them off one target into a second while swinging the remaining handheld part at a third target.
This video has mad "I Did A Thing" energy.
No wonder Shad has you do all his builds. He doesn't give you enough praise. Also,you're right,Daredevil's club is the only comic accurate weapon.

You were talking about length of the stick not being long enough. While moving away from the show and jumping to more to Nightwing, why not make the other ends extendable and it becomes a bo staff.

If only we could have a "grapple gun" function in real life. But unlike in comics, we mere mortals cannot cheat the laws of physics. Am I remembering wrong or is Daredevil's billy club made of vibranium in the comics? Giving it the fictional rebounding effect like cap's shield.
And you are correct Tyranth. I personally have never seen the billy club used like nunchucks. The cable is always used as a grapple line or a garotte wire, usually when interrogating thugs. XD
I think it's primary two forms are club + escrima sticks. There's a reason Daredevil is often compared to Nightwing and the two are often paired in fictional "death battles." Two insane athletes / martial artists / gymnasts beating the snot out of thugs with sticks.

A mace to morning star combo would be a pretty interesting medieval weapon.
Though I just thought of a staff that can loose lead bullets like a stringless staff sling. Some kind of rotation or pull dispenser maybe. And the other end could be a polearm. Pommel machine gun!

I love this channel, easily rivals shadiversitys quality of content but with lower production value
I have a suggestion although it'll ruin the symmetry of the weapon, maybe make the side that fully disconnects about 20%-30% longer, it'll allow you to identify which side is the nunchuk and which is the dual stick while also negating some of the small reach problem you might face in dual or single stick.
Tyranth is pretty good at smithing, even while blindfolded.

If you use a light silk you can get a blindfold that you can easily see through, for aesthetic purposes.
it actually needs to be longer, it should be closer to quarterstaff length as daredevil also uses it as a cane in the way a seeing impared person would when he's not in costume so it needs to be long enough to reach the ground from waist height

An esay way to fix the symmetry problem is to just make the side that doesn't hold the cable to be as long as the other half and the mid section so it's esay to distinguish and then both are the same length when used as dual batons

That's... honestly a pretty good double-split system. The open ends could be internally threaded to allow a cap or a pommel insert.
I can also def see how a lot of cool variations of this could be designed and milled to spec, similar to all the variations in lightsaber grips that people love; as a functional prop/tool and ornamental object.
Perhaps this could be something to consider producing at small-scale?

I gotta be honest, this might be the coolest build so far, the Thor hammer being behind it.
It's also Tyranth red, but Daredevil doesn't know that.

The Easter Egg that you didn't intentionally leave there is giving me flashbacks about Mjölnir. Please be careful with chains.
One thing I would you could have tested was if you put a longer cable can you swing from it.
Shad may change his mind in the nunchucku after seeong this and testing the club.
I'm honestly the least convinced about the usefulness of "two stick" mode. They seem like they're too short to add any reach or any more power than a bare fist would have. But maybe they're heavier than they look?
Also, I'd never thought about how that grippy texture gets added to metal before, so that eas cool to see.
At the very least, you least likely to hurt your own knuckles when hitting hard object with it.
Even if it doesn't have reach, you can treat it like a very blunt knife and stab with it. Even if it won't be as lethal as an actual knife, it'll still hurt your opponent. Can be quite useful in a grappling situation, since you don't need to wind your upper arm too much to give it momentum.
You can also use it like a short, headless mallet.
Against unarmed opponent, it's still sturdy enough to be used to swat incoming punches and kicks while at the same time hurting their arms and legs somewhat more than if you use your own arms and legs to defend yourself. That way you can also prevent injuring yourself.
And if you are as good as Daredevil you can also toss one at your opponent--not to knock them down, but at least distract them for your following move while also still having a weapon at hand. Or just toss both in sequence if you're also as good as Daredevil in hand-to-hand.
But of course, it's a quite difficult-to-use weapon and would require better mastery to wield compare to a longer ranged weapon.
Tldr; having a sturdy weapon that is easy to use is often more beneficial than fighting with fist. Remember; if those break, you can always find/make replacement. If your bones break/fracture, that's several months of resting and healing for you. If you're fighting an enemy with greater reach, just run unless you're super confident with your ability.
@@spearsage Those are good points. I suppose the real problem is that big stick seems like it's so much better than two sticks in basically every situation. I guess two stick is better for throwing, but that's not something that you'd realistically want to do except in desperation.
Since you already have the blindfold, are you going to test out the realism of Kenshi from Mortal Kombat?

Yeah in the comics daredevil never really uses to rope functionality for combat he uses it more like a traversal then anything in fact it's partly why i actually prefer the old Affleck movie version of the club it turns into his cane and actually had claws that pop out the side so it actually looked like it could grab something as a grappling hook

Don't you actually get 4 weapons in one? In addition to the 3 you listed, you also get stick+flail if you use both buttons. It's probably not the most practical way to use it, and I don't recall seeing it being used that way in Daredevil, but it is a way that you could use it.
