It depends on many factors such as what stand Russia is going to take if there is a war between India and China with US on India's side. Also will US keep its commitment even if the ruling party changes. Also will the US abandon India as it did in Afghanistan or support only with weapons and not with manpower as in Ukraine. We should beware of India being used as a market for other countries to sell their arms.
But I think just supporting with weapons is enough cause if Ukraine can manage just with it why we can't do that as we have more than twice the population of USA (using the population for war is not a good idea but if the war becomes serious we can do it ).BUT I AGREE WITH OTHER " WHAT IF'S " U said about.

the Saurashtrians of South India are Brahmins and are also called as Saurashtra Brahmins. They belong to Pancha Gauda Brahmins. They trace their ancestry to the historical region of Saurashtra from Western India and are originally Gauda Brahmins who migrated south due to frequent Islamic invasions in the North Western India. Saurashtra Brahmins use Sharma, Rao, Iyer, Iyengar and Achary as their surnames and are classified as Vaishnavites, Madhavas and Smarthas.They follow Apastamba Dharmasutra and belong to the Ahobila and Sankaracharya Mathas. They are classified into 64 gotras and follow Yajurveda.
