In my view, if India and Pakistan were together as one country it would bring more harm than good. We were already split due to the British divide and rule strategy. Hence, in a multi-party government like ours, political parties representing either one of the large communities might favour one another. As a result, we might be fighting internally as opposed to developing the country.
