visiting BERLIN 🇩🇪 | things didn't go as planned... | travel vlog netherlands - germany

we went on a short trip to Berlin! we travelled by train from the Netherlands and were there in just a couple hours.
we went to Berlin for 3 days for work, so we didn't have much time, just a few hours every day, but we managed to see quite a bit of the city. both of us had been there already so we didn't necessarily go to the super touristy spots, but rather wandered around and see what we encountered.
our trip didn't go as planned as many of the spots were closed off due to a governmental visit or the UEFA championship. but we could still walk through the picturesque streets of berlin and have some nice German food (schnitzel) and beer.
Here a short summary of our trip:
Day 1 - Tiergarten, dinner at "Café am Neuen See", Berlin Zoo, Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church
Day 2 - Postdamer Platz, Holocaust Memorial, Brandenburger Gate, German Parliament, River Spree, dinner at "Restaurant Nolle"
Day 3 - Museum Island, Cathedral of Berlin (and see the views from the dome), Rotes Rathaus (town hall), Fernsehturm of Berlin, lunch at "Wine and Coffee House", Hackescher Markt
