Lately, I've been trying to advance my technical singing and expand into the world of riffs and runs. What better way to start than with Teddy Swims' song, "Lose Control"? A year ago, this song would have terrified me, and I never would have considered learning it, let alone posting it on my channel. But I got to thinking.. If I love music as much as I say I do, I shouldn't limit myself to what I know I can do vocally. I shouldn't be scared of trying new things and expanding my horizons! It took a lot of extra work, but here it is! Enjoy this piano/vocal cover of "Lose Control" by Teddy Swims.

Wow. The only female cover I've heard where the person made it their own instead of just sounding like a female version of Teddy. Plays more on the longing than the self destruction. Really great!

It's a very clean cover. You've got a great voice, but I think it lacks the passion of the original. In the original, Teddy feels like he's almost falling apart singing it. Yours sounds very nice, but it doesn't have the same feeling for me.

The purpose of a cover isn't to copy and paste an exact replica. The reason people love covers is because a really good artist can give a song a completely new feel that the original artist couldn't. She most definitely accomplished that and I think this was an amazing cover and I loved every part of it! 10/10
