Just got leaked the closed version of the glider is in the mini bp with aang as a pickaxe - its closed so you cant see the orange so will match with korra's blue one perfectly

Bro, do not laugh at me, but when I saw kora in the battle pass, I was curious to who she is so I search her name up on safari then I saw the legend of Korra show so I thought it looked interesting so I started watching it then I fall in love with the avatar franchise and Korra but the only avatar show I watch is the legend of Korra and not the others because I feel like it will exclude kora and I’m a male so I don’t have female heroes but kora surprised me😭
oh that’s so awesome!!! I do highly recommend watching avatar the last airbender though, it’s a great show too. and while it does exclude Korra, it gives more insight into the world before she came along. but it’s an interesting perspective you have to have watched her show first!! glad you like it so much!
edit: and atla also has a great cast of female characters^

If you're interested the item I'm referring to is the Phantasmic pulse and it looks like it's back in the item shop. It's a customizable pickaxe and I find the style that matches the fire daggers more is Cosmic Edge with primary color orange and secondary red

If they can turn the Tron disc, Hulks hands, an Octane form RL, and chicken wings into a pickaxe, they can turn anything into a pickaxe.
There are a few elemental pickaxes from the My Hero Academia collab that I feel would fit well. Like the Cold-Hot Hitters or maybe the Red Riot Thrashers, i know nothing about MHA but they look like rock. I do love the idea of a Pabu pet backbling. That would hit so hard

btw, pickaxes don’t really do that much extravagant stuff. It’s rare to even have a new swing anim, which the battle fans actually do. EDIT: WE WILL DEFINITELY RIDE ON TOP OF APPA. THERES NO WAY IT WOULD BE A HANGINBG GLIDER. second edit: Korra’s emote makes her go into the avatar state when you use it with her.

so the thing is like he said Korra hangs off her glider. Also I’m not sure I like Korra’s eyes on the skin, I would like a more serious look other than the balanced style. The weapons disappointed me. There’s only one move and I was hoping for water bending to freeze the ground and slide in. I wish it was the water whip and not icicles. But overall my favourite cosmetic was definitely the emote.
personally would’ve loved to have seen an octopus form mythic, that’s always been my fave move for some reason lol

People complained alot about what Korra was doing in a Greek Mythology themed Battle Pass. But I think Epic knew what they were doing because they know people who didn't care about the season/ game otherwise would come to play and buy the BP JUST for this collab.

Ok to give you some context the reason why cerberus glider is the way it is because of the marvel ghost rider collab the motorcycle is ridable and this is basically the same thing but green so fortnite didn't make it rideable to not have it be a exact reskin.

they wouldn't add bolins lava or dai li hands as korras pick axe since they plan on adding more avatar cosmetics so they would save those ideas for when they make skins for those specific characters,

My biggest gripe with the Avatar set (other than no Sokka) is not letting us transform to and from the Avatar state. Then, we could have had a regular Season 4 Korra
yessss. I didn’t realize there were transformation skins so I feel like this would be a no brainer. oh well
@@8vatar Yeah, Fortnite had a really good streak going and just... stopped. In the first wave of DBZ skins, Goku and Vegeta both had three transformations each. Wave one of My Hero Academia, Deku and All Might each got one. Same goes for the second wave of DBZ with Gohan and Piccolo, and then the standalone release of Goku Black. Then, inexplicably, Kirishima from MHA had a style which could have been a transformation, but wasn't, and then the same happened with Frieza and Cell. Now, Aang and Korra.
It's really a shame, I hope if we get an Adult Aang skin for the upcoming movie he comes with one

Cool thing that you can do with the korra skin: the avatars flourish emote has something special that only works for korra and no other skin and that is when she does anyone else does the emote is goes as normal but when she does the emote she goes into the avatar state
yep I learned that after which does boost the emote in my ratings. I’m hoping it will do the same for aang!

About the "fire jet", there is already one that has fire coming out of hands so I guess it would have been too similar

The Cold-Hot Hitters pickaxe from one of the My Hero Academia collabs looks like a better pickaxe for Korra (and Aang), so buy that when it returns!

I would make the pickaxe an earth disk flying from side to side. For the backpack I would use Pabu in some kind of basket. They are probably the only things I would charge.

Metal bender blades would've been PERFECT, but it has to really speak *Korra*. It's been a while since I've watched the show, but I'm certain there's definitely a better option they could've gone with and adapted perfectly within Fortnite.

I do agree, they could have done a few of the cosmetics better, specifically the pickaxe and the glider ride animation. If you have the Cold-Hot Hitters pickaxe from the My Hero Academia collab, those pair well with Korra! I can't complain too much cuz the whole set is still pretty amazing

As a fan of both Avatar and Fortnite, I can tell you that (atleast in my opinion), they did a really good job with Korra's cosmetic set. She arguably got the better deal in terms of Battle Pass Crossover Skin sets. So I'm personally quite happy!
Usually a character's set is meant to be related to the character specifically, so most of your suggestions for cosmetics probably wouldn't work simply for that reason. They're more general Avatar things rather than stuff related to Korra herself. The fire jets contrail idea probably wouldn't work simply because there's already 3 fire jet type contrails already so another one would probably be redundant. Also, Fortnite isn't necessarily a stranger to making up something for a collab if they can't find anything suitable for their cosmetics. But as far as I remember (it's been years since I last saw Avatar so bear with me), it IS technically possible for a Waterbender to make those Battle Fans, right? I mean, maybe they haven't done it in the show, but they technically _could._
Also, your complaint about the Cerberus Glider is pretty justified, since there's ALREADY other motorcycle gliders that let you ride on it like a surfboard. I imagine they would HAVE to make you ride on Appa because he'd just cover the entire top of your screen otherwise. Also, yeah most people don't tend to really care for Emoticons or Sprays since they don't really use them. And so they're usually all on the same level of "Good"-ness if you know what I mean. They just exist, no reason to really hate or like them.
I think they didn't want to go for her Season 4 version because that would be "too little" of a change for an entirely separate style... And the other suggestions may not be super iconic relative to the other 2 options.
Overall, I think they did a great job! I'm just so happy I FINALLY have a Battle Pass Collab Skin that I *PERSONALLY* care about!

I love how the blue air glider represents that korra needed to recruit new air nomads /revive the air nation and for the crown makes sense korra had her first win(amon) and first avatar state
I hate that battle pass skins can't get updated looks if you own them for example in the item shop they gave skins that's battle pass related but not the OG skin itself.
I like the rewards except for the second tier skin. should've got Amon, Zaheer or Kuvira 🔥
villain skins would be awesome. I do hope there are more korra skins in general later down the line… and I didn’t like the second tier skin that much at first but I’ve been using it and it’s growing on me
I suspect korras glider to use the same animation as batmans batglider but with a unique deploy animation.

if you look at the deploy animation it spins then goes upwards when full expanded. It's the exact same thing regular gliders do when deploying.
gliders where you literally glide (instead of hold onto it) like batman, groot's or carnage's just simply appear outta nowhere. I think you can tell too, since where her feet should be positioned seems really small. I don't know how they'd sit on that without clipping through the glider itself.
It's a shame, so i'm hoping fans complain enough for them to change it but I doubt that'll happen :(

Im not a huge fan of the Avatar Cycle back bling for kne reaoson only. Bc Its in order.
Since its in order clockwise that means the actual rotation (the actual avatar cycle) is reverse of how it should be. For it to be perfect then Earth and Air would switch places. Its very clever to try and visualize the cycle like this. But they messed up the design by rotating it.

As some who likes the avatar series, but is not a super big fan , and more as a fortnite fan I agree on the contrail it should have been something else to show off the show, or if they made it look less dumb, pickaxe I think would have been better if it was an animation where you cycle between all 4 elements, or style for the pickaxe between all 4 elements, also as a long time fortnite fan, emoticons and sprays don’t matter everyone essentially dislikes them and considers them filler, also yeah Fortnite is dumb sometimes like including characters in collab loading screens, also normal gliders when they should ride it? But I’m pretty sure they’ll do appa justice

Ok, people gonna hate me for this but, I like the Korra series more than the original avatar. There’s more action, better lore, more story, and way more cool things never discussed in the original series. Plus I like Bumi, not the earth bender one but Aangs son, he’s by far the best character in any of the two series. And what I’m about to say isn’t true for all people because I can see how people could like the original because of better it being a better show, (I don’t believe the original is better but I still like it), but I bet a lot of you like the original because of nostalgia.

The legend of Korra is good, I would rank Book 1 of Korra to be better than Book 1 of ATLA, but overall I think ATLA is better with the overall story and characters.
Now I am glad we are getting upcoming ATLA movies that are about Aang and his friends in their 20s, to fill the time period of ATLA and LOK

ngl, i kinda wished the avatar and korra collabs were seperate, like i get why they are together, but 1. they are 2 different shows, just in the same universe and 2. it would give more room for characters like asami a chance to be in fortnite, i get why they chose korra in her avatar state, but honestly, i would love to see asami, mako, bolin, or even jinora
regardless, if azula isnt in the collab, imma cry

@@8vatar FR, azula is such an iconic character, and asami played a massive part in the show. i would at the very least, want to see toph.
in a way, otherwise, it would just feel like a waste of a collab, like whats the point in including korra or aang if the series isnt being fully represented.
funnily i was playing fortnite and did watch AtLA way before but only heard about and started watching legends of Korra because of this fortnite collab
