  • Adam Miller knows that belief and doubt are normal parts of being human because he has experienced both. The author of "Letters to A Young Mormon" shares a time when he was brought to his knees in prayer when a friend left the Church.

Now in my late winter years I must say that your little portable "An Early Resurrection" has, along with the scriptures, lifted my soul to another level. I see in you the honest and open embodiment of a human, shoulder to the wheel engaged in the same trek through life by trusting in your covenants and promises. I've tried to become in my own "hotel" prayer struggles simply what I see in others who are Truth-Tellers and Truth-Livers, simple, fallen, "types of Christs" doing in their own best way what so many of us cherish and feel and find "delicious" to contemplate and to live. Loving Christ has, as you suggests, "shaped my use of time," whatever amount of time remains. Thank you for who you are, the living person behind the words.

Everything has its opposite: light and shadow, truth and lies, virtue and vice. Thank you for helping me realize that by acknowledging doubt for what it is, I can fully embrace its opposite- faith. It’s the other side of the coin.

I surrendered to Christ and it is by his grace I am saved. When I am having trouble with doubt I fall back to that simple relation ship with my Savior. With out Christ there is nothing. I do not beat myself up for failures or strive for perfection, for to achieve it is impossible in this life. Progress in my walk with Christ, with all my imperfections is all I can hope for and it is enough for happiness and getting through tragedy. That loving Grace is how I grow and learn of him, and how to be like him. He does not judge us our faults, for we judge ourselves far more harsher than he ever wold. Be gentle with yourself as Christ is. He loves us unconditionally.

It is the way of signaling that you need something - you need answers to evidence that points to the falsehoods of what you believe!

What’s the purpose of seeking out videos to make comments like this? Demeaning his experience is unkind at best.

Did you know that CZcams has an algorithm to automatically recommend videos to users?
