P!NK shows support for Britney Spears by changing lyrics to: 'Sweet Britney Spears'. Speaking to PEOPLE in February, P!NK previously said she feels "very protective" of her saying "she's the sweetest person in the world."
She not only performed, perhaps, the most original concert we've ever seen at a stadium in Michigan, but she also broke a Comerica Park concert attendance record after playing at the home of the Detroit Tigers on August 16th, 2023. P!NK now holds the record for the highest attended reserved seat concert in the baseball stadium's history, according to officials from 313 Presents. Just over 45,000 people were at the show.

I like the lyric change but I feel damn portrayed more emotion, as I'm sure pink was always compared to Britney. At the time Britney was huge and when you have low self esteem, you don't want to be compared to someone so beautiful and popular. It feels fake to do that.
the 'damn' always felt like it was blaming Britney for being 'pretty'/something she could control rather than for being compared to her. Britney was always hated on for being beautiful but not talented when both artists are both.
