  • 2 cup sugar 1/2 cup Karo 1/2 cup water. Green seedless grapes, toothpicks, jolly rancher hard candy 3 small bags from the dollar store, pan lined with parchment paper, flavoring of choice and food color gel white and the other color of choice, cook mix to 280 to 290 remove add favoring mix well, add white food coloring gel mix well and add other color of choice mix and dip trying not to shake to hard then dip in the crushed jolly rancher mixture and place on parchment paper

    Laughing at all of the ATL comments. Yes, they're expensive here and I was definitely surprised at the quote I got for $12, but trust me folks are paying it so why not charge what you can? We've paid more for less on so many other products. As DIY'ers we know better, but again, know the market. Just like when I want seafood. I won't walk away spending less than $50-70 just for myself when all I need to do is make it myself, but I pay for what I want. Just sayin'. Thanks Blessful Creations. I appreciate you.

      Noooo. Because it would be a hazard and tacky as hell to serve these on the sticks and you won't be able to get them off. And the holes would cause the sugar to break down quicker.

    Imma try this. Looks good. Also, I was thinking after you grind up the jolly ranchers, to save the mix in a bag without lumping together, maybe put a teaspoon of powered sugar in the bag and shake around.

    Quick questions I'm making them this afternoon .. Do you wash them off and let them air-dry or Pat them dry before dipping them ? And are the grapes suppose to be room temperature ?

      Marie 93 I let them air dry and yes I pat them dry before dipping you can have them room temperature I had mines in the refrigerator over night because I brought them the night before I brought them home let them soak in a water bath for about 15 minutes are so then let them air dry

      I grinding it up didn’t add anything to it but the jolly rancher candies maybe if it’s warm in your house the candies will sweat and become sticky

    I tried it today and they are hard to make. Idk what I did wrong but my mix got hard after I made 6 of them. They taste good tho. ❤️❤️
