First, the Avatar fights a group of soldiers near the Blackrock Gem.
Then she fights Mors Gotha and a group of soldiers (and a mage) in Killorn Keep.
Since Mors Gotha did not appreciate the full power of the Axe of Fire Doom, she fights for a third time, and falls.
In retrospect, it probably wasn't necessary to have any Lore skill. It did identify some items as magical, but not enough of them. I had to rely on guides to make sure certain items were magical. Those points could have been better placed in Casting or Defense.
