Hello Mergim! I’m your silent subscriber but I’ve been your long subscriber the first time you came to the Phils. Your vlogs are the best in content & style, very interesting, fascinating and extraordinary. You are a truly an amazing 🤩 blogger even just by yourself because you go to the details & explain as much as possible ordinary things whenever you go which other bloggers just shows you the places they go & leave. Please continue to stay here in the Phils and thank you for bringing us along your trips since for me, I’ve never had the chance to go to, see, visit and experience them. You are a very simple person but a big heart, truly appreciative and passionate of what you do whether it’s small or big thing. Good luck and supporting your vlogs all the way. ❤🎉😊

When the lady offered you Filipino coffee, that’s most probably Barako Batangas coffee. It’s of the liberica variety which loosely translated into male stud. Chicharon bulaklak on the other is known as pork mesentery or the membrane which connects the intestine to the stomach. It’s more popular as pulutan or beer chow.

Hi Mergim, watching from Dubai UAE. I am from Cavite, Ph and Tagaytay is our go to place whenever we wanted to have a late night coffee or a short staycation. Thanks for featuring our country and for always staying positive, I know it could be challenging to travel from one place to another especially if you don't have your own car. But kudos to you for trying to experience how it's like to live there like the locals.

While in Tagaytay, you ought to try Batangas brewed coffee, called "Barako"... try it hot, as well as cold and let us know what you think of it!
There is a cafe/resto chain called Bag of Beans that serves tasty hot meat pies that partner
well with barako coffee for a filling snack.

Tagaytay has an abundance of fresh produce, from flowers to fruits and vegetables. The pineapples are grown right there, and are cheap and sweet at this time of year. Mangoes are also sweet now, and are grown in many provinces, but the most popular ones are from Guimaras down south, Zambales and Pangasinan.

Mergim, you were frantically trying to stop him only to find out that the vendor is gonna use it to tap on the durians. So nervous, too much caffeine, i guess. I admit my heart stop beating for a while too, i was thinking someone's gonna get circumsized or somethin'. Gosh, IT"S MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES!😂

Standard rule of thumb in the Philippines bro... if it's fried and crispy you dip it in vinegar to help cut the oiliness. Chicharon bulaklak, is jokingly what we call the heart attack special... it's basically deep fried fat... haha its the membrane that connects the intestines to the abdomen. It's great pulutan or food you eat while drinking.

Kudos to you for going to Mahogany Market. You got to experience local fruits even those you used to sell in Thailand. Thanks also for the helpful tip about how to pick a ripe Durian. I will remember that when we're back to Davao. Good thing a vendor gave you one Lanzones (Lan-zo-nes with a short e) to try. Locals love that fruit! 😂You thought it's a potato. Well, we don't blame you because that fruit can only be found in the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia and Southern India. Thanks for showing us that there are lots of small eateries on the 2nd floor of Mahogany Market. That's quite nice to know. Imagine, I used to live in Manila 30+ years of my life and I haven't gone there? But at least, through your Vlogs somehow it felt like I was there too. Anyways, Thanks again Mergim. We always look forward to your new videos. You're actually one of the fastest in uploading!!! 🎉

According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the sweetest variety of mango is the Carabao, also known as the Philippine mango or the Manila mango. As attested to by its alternative names, it originated in the Philippines, where it is named after the carabao, a Filipino breed of water buffalo.

I don't want my beef chunks separated from the bone. That Bulalo you had there, because of that, I'll rate it a 3. It gives me the impression that the meat is from the Bulalo part another part of the beef that's cheaper, thus, tougher. The Bulalo pt beef, I'll rate it at a 7. I guess always check first if the resto will give you a marrow with all the beef still attached. There's no cheating in that.
