Soldering Iron Faulty? Repairing Soldering Iron Tips

I needed my soldering iron recently for a project, when I found it wasn't working. The problem was the soldering iron wasn't getting hot.
So I decided that as other people would have this problem I'd document me doing some fault finding on the soldering iron. The tips shared in the video can be used in other situations, so even if your soldering iron isn't broke, you should find the video useful.
