I think Ben comes across fantastically here. Really sharp, articulate and no ego.
He’s definitely saying the right things. I hope the club back him 100% to deliver on his vision. OTBC
Can I ask...: what do you mean by 'ego'?
@@juliangiulio3147 I guess I’m referencing a difference between how his personality comes across and Stuart Webber’s did. Webber seemed very keen to always have the last word and take digs at the fan base, whereas my first impression of Knapper is he’s a bit more humble and prefers to do his work in the background.
Ok... Thanks for that@@QuornRat
Good interview. A good sporting director will get his/her head down and work hard, and that's exactly what he's done since arriving at the club. The summer window will be where his work gets scrutinised more than ever, but he's begun shifting the deadwood and looking at lowering the average age of the squad, so that's a good start 🔰
We r starting to look a decent side again, getting key players fit is kick starting our season again,it helps everyone with wins, fans get behind the team more and that gets through to the players,so hopefully we can push on and get that 6th place end of the season ready for play offs and maybe another wembley win to add to the 2,0 win over Boro,🏆💛💚🐤
Great questions Paddy!
Good interview and glad it has finally happened.
The rest of the season is simple from here on in. Keep improving the style of play, keep the good results (or maximum effort, at least) coming, and the supporters need to back team wholeheartedly.
OTBC!!
He exists!!
He's a knapper so he needs his rest.
He does but the staggered width, spaced boarding behind him was more interesting.
I agree we have to keep the faith
Is there any more talk about increasing the capacity of the ground in the future?
What’s the point when we’re not even filling the capacity we do have?
Corr, AI video is getting alright innit
It’s quite easy to come out and talk now, where was he, during our bad spell?
He’s coming out after the window which is understandable
Its only understandably when the intention is not to improve the squad which he has not.
Give josh sargent a new contract
I believe he signed a new deal in October until 2028.
Just a yes man. Does what he's told.
P.S we still want Wagner out!!
Not been challenging moments. There has been challenging months on end. Coventry win will mean very little unless we do well at QPR so I await
to see whether the rip off train price for a re route via Cambridge will be worth it.
Blimey, is he younger than Connor? If we're bringing on youth, let's have some in the first team😂
A lot of words but didn't really say anything that you could take away. The interviewers were very poor. Did not pick up on and ask specifically about the things he thought needed improving to get the better performances seen recently. Very disappointing that he sees the club just as a player trading organisation. Gives the fans little hope for the future in terms of Norwich City challenging the big boys.
Yes man
Still don’t know what the future is for the club?
The foochure is the same old ‘Player trading club’ as Knapster said himself
Open up pathways to young players? Give young players an opportunity? None into any matchday squad since your arrival
Do you think he picks the teams?
He job is to select managers and has decided to retain a poor manager who would rather have 2 keepers on bench than one keeper and a youth team player in a cup game.
We've had loads of youngsters in our matchday squad. Two goalkeepers, often.
Give the guy a break two months us sxarce enough time ti find your desk. The summer squad build will be a better time to judge but i agree we need to bring on our younger players and not sell them on.
Urm, urm, urm, urm, urm……
Came across as a good communicator, but did he actually say anything of substance?
Nothing of any substance, it was a PR excersise. Called it a Player Trading club towards the end…which we have all known over the years but there was the actual admission of low ambition. Where was the question about not getting a holding midfielder?
Not really learnt anything new .
Delias little puppy
Downgrade on Webber
Massively unimpressive
What are you unimpressed about?
