i.e (30×hour-11/2×min)
For example i am taking 6:30
Hours=6,min=30
=(30×6-11/2×30)
=180-165
=15 degrees 👈😉
Thank you
Very useful concept
Superb
Thanks
Easily understand thank u very much mam just understand in 2mints simple way
Is this the same formular for different timings ahh madam..??
**** My Method ***
Hour Hand (HH) moves 360 degree in 12 Hrs
HH moves 360/12= 30 degree in 1 Hr
Rule1: *** so HH moves 30/60 = 1/2 degree in 1 Minute. ***
Minute Hand (MH) moves 360 degree in 60 Minutes
Rule2: *** MH moves 360/60= 6 degree in 1 Minute ***
Time Given is 6:30
Rule3: ***Convert hrs into minutes for HH***
Total Minutes for HH = 6*60+30 = 390 minutes
Angle made by HH in 1 minute = 1/2 degree
Angle made by HH in 390 minutes = 390* 1/2 degree = 195 degree
Angle made by MH in 1 minute = 6 degree
Angle made by MH in 30 minute = 30*6 degree = 180 degree.
Angle between HH and MH is = 195-180 = 15 degree
Always remember.
1. Hr Hand moves 1/2 degree in 1 Minute.
2. Min Hand moves 6 degree in 1 Minute.
Convert the hour time into minutes and multiply with given above.
Alternatively the formula for finding angle:
A=30(H)-5.5(M)
A=30*6-5.5*30 = 180-165 = 15 degree...
This method seems simpler. thankyou
Thx for the formula
Your method is far better than this video!
Can't stand her pronunciation of Hour.
Tysm
👌👌👌thanks
Better u can follow this formula.
angle°= 1/2|60(H)-11(M)|.
if time is 6:30 then substitute 6 in the place of H and 30 in the place of M u will get ans as 15°.😄
PAMPARI SHRUTHI thanks dear 😊
PAMPARI SHRUTHI Thanks
Thanks shruthi
Yes
There will be slight modification in your formula. First of all we should take the absolute value ie modulus value. Secondly if the angle comes greater than 180 degree then we should subtract it from 360 degree.
after reading all these nasty comments and watching your video .. i'm getting a conclusion that your procedure is better enough for all the questions on clock.. thank u so much maam..
Madam, we are preparing for competitive exam..
Me too
Me too
A=30H-5.5M.
A=angle,H=hr,M=min
=30(6)-5.5(30)
=180-165
=15°
Ved Salgaonkar Thanks broi..
Ved Salgaonkar Thanks bro. But i think we can do it even faster by just multuplying 30 with 1/2 to get the right answer as we know that the hour hand moves only for 1/2 degree every minute. so in thirty minutes it will move only 15 degree. Thats it.
for 12:55 A is 57.5 degree or 302.5 degree
If the angle is coming greater than 180 degree,subtract it from 360 degree.
Ved Salgaonkar I also follow this way
Can't understand anything for beginners like me
Thank you 🙏
You make things way more difficult
Exactly 😐
One more easy method is that just remember the fact that hour hand moves 1° per 2 minutes ,then calculate difference of angle between hour and minute hand..
There's another easy way to solve. Just remember that for every 1 min, the hour hand covers 1/2 a degree.
So for 30 mins --- (1/2)× 30= 15
Why do you have to make it so complicated?
They are wanna be obscurantist.
how do you solve 6:30?
Spr
👌
How it can be possible for 30 minutes hour hand will rotate for 15 °
It is long process
=30h-11/2m
=30×6-11/2×30
=180-165
=15°
Hey please explain 1st and second step please

Seenu Srinivas u r right
Yes.
any other solution ??
Another solution available
@@DurgaPrasad-zq4iu yes another way to find any angle for certain time like 6:30,5:30 etcc the answer and procedure for the above type questions in easy method is :-
find angle in 6:30
formula :- | 30(H) - 11/2(m) |
| 30(6) - 11/2(30) |
| 180 - 15*11 | = | 180-165 | = | -15 | == final answer is 15 degrees cool way
Better way is using this formula:
30H-(11/2)M
H-hour
M-minute
Used for angle calculation

Absolutely this makes easy things more difficult
chaa today i learnt the longest method to find angle :p
It's absolutely correct, also the way u explained it's just superb. But it's not helpful in exam Hall. Yes it could be helpful , if the answer is asked in conventional way
Here is an easy way-
Hour hand move 30degree every hour...
That means 15 degree every half hour...Therefore it will be at 15 degree from 6 on clock...
And minute hand is on 6...
Thus difference between minute hand and hour hand will be 15 degree....
your hour is extremely annoying kindly correct it.
Vads Rajput yes dear haaaaaaaaaarrrrrrr hand ...wtf
exactly..
@@priyankan9837 she is more knowledgeable than you
Dude. I thought it's just me. Made wanna fucking shoot myself. 😭
Turn on the captions, it says hot hand lmao😂😂
Best explanation mam and no time is wasted not even a single second
Follow this...
Formula = {30h - (11/2)m }
Or if ratio is 1:5 then directly m/2 will be the answer
Or ratio is 1:4 then m*2 will be answer
@The Shield see video you will understand
thanq bro
Long method mam. There is a shortcut available
Use this : 60*given hour - 11* given min /2
Eg 6:30
60*6-11*30/2= 360-330/2= 30/2=15°
nicceceeeeeeeeeeeee
Most simplest equation i can give u is,if y is hours and x is minutes,then
(-30*y)+((11*x)/2)
ignore the negative sign for the result.
eg: 2:40 y=2,x=40
if we input we get 160.
tested on most times.
here is a python program of the sort,
y=int(input("Enter Hours"))
x=int(input("Enter Mins"))
Equation1=((1-(x/60))*30)+((((x/5)-y)-1)*30)
print(Equation1)
Equation2=(-30*y)+((11*x)/2)
print(Equation2)
Equation1 and Equation 2 are the same,But equation 2 is simplified...hope it helps
1 hours = 30°
1/2 hours = 15°
When time 6:30
Minute hand wil be in the angle of 30°(6th hour 30°)
Hour hand will be in the angle of 15° (between 6 and 7)
30°- 15°= 15°
Totally confusing.......
30H -11/2M
how?
@@aadeekale this is formula...u can.solve most of the ... questions...using this...
ANGLE=30(H-M/5)+(M/2)
= 30(6-30/5)+(30/2)
= 30(6-6)+15
= 15 degree
Thankyou for making it easy for me to understand. I just want to say, that "hour" is pronounced as "arr" as the "h" is silent , as in "honest" or "homage", I hear you say "har" and not "arr".😅 Thankyou again for these educationalvideos!
you are making aptitude much more difficult
Nice
Madhushree Magadi I ❤️
ohh really then why shouldnt u become teacher
@@Subham_Lohan this question is too easy to solve if we take the reference time 6 o clock and then find the degree moved by hour cock in 30 minutes. answer is there.
First convert 6hr 30minutes into hours =13/2 hr
We know that 1hr =30degree
So multiply it 13/2 × 30 =195 degree
Now minute hand is 30minute
We know that 1minute= 6 degree
Multiply it with minute 30×6= 180 degree
Find the difference between two ..that is it
195-180=15 degree
Great
I love ur teaching mam😀
thanku soo much for making math soo hard... this is simple 1 line answer.... its really funny the way u solve it...
30H-5.5M

Seriously she is teaching what she knows
Ieswariya ji, h is silent in the word 'hour'
This method is very lengthy...we can find angles from the formula..30°h-11/2m
Mam i have a suggestion to you please speak slowly that student can gain what they learning
plz reduce the speed while taking classes for the better understanding..taq
sure
Is this a shortcut???
To find the angle between the hour hand(H) and the minute hand(M)...just use this formula:
I H × 30 - M × 11/2 I
Thanku ❤️
6.30pm.. 30mints becomes 6 so 6-6=0*30=0+half of the mints..ie 0+15=15.. if the time between 12 to 1 .. take half of the minute with multiply 11.. eg:12.10pm,, 5*11=55...
it is simple see when it is 6 O clock both are vertical now when min hand approaches 30 min then hour hand moves some angle which is = 30 min . and so angle moved by hour hand is 1/2*30=15 deg. so ans is 15 deg
Best trick is 30 /2= 15° whenever the ratio is 1:5
Too good but
..Ela chesthey exam time motham ayipothundhi 😆
Doddapuneni Bindu
Correct ga chpav
exactly.......
for hour hand
6*30=180
60 min =30 deg
30 min=15 deg
total 195 deg
for min hand
1 min= 6 deg
30 min= 180 deg
so diff=195-180=15 deg
i am much impressive by watching your videos i loves your video becoz they made me more intelligent than past......

thank you to solve my problem in smart way.
angle= 2x(6-6)+ (30/2) = 15 degrees ( Count hour hands position on clock i.e @ 6 on the clock in this case and Minute hand as well i.e. also @ 6 in this case 2 is constant and division of minutes specified is also constant i.e 0.5)

Mam your teaching style is unique,but problem is all videos are not in sequence...like age,clock,set theory etc.
Mam can you do that in sequence.
Mam are you teaching the hardest method 😂😂😂
At 6.30 the hour hand and minute hand coincide so why the angle is 15 degree why is not zero.
Minhaz Ahmad observe it hours hand is somewhat slight far from min hand..not exactly coinsides it moves towards 7.
go and see your watch when it comes to 6:30...then you will realize
Madam teach slowly .
Very very Informative thanks a lot
super teaching easliy we can understand by your teaching nice teaching
I love you
It's easier to solve it by simple logic. You just made it 10 times more difficult.
bro hello
I find this formula as an easy way
Angle = |30 × hours - 11/2 × minutes|
Instead of doing that much long process you can use the formula- theta =hour. 30 - minute. 11/2
and if in case the minute hand overtakes the hour hand then -
360-theta.
Lot of thank's medom for your best coaching classes.
Beautiful explanation just like you mam...
at 6:30...min hand will be at exact 6...hour hand moves 30 degrees for 1 hr..so for 30 mins it will move 15 degrees...thts it
For the example explained in clocks basics please add the short cut method also. The hour hand and minute hand takes 180° each.but by the time minute hand reaches 30min , hour hand moves 15° extra...... It's can be solved in less than 5secs.. Why such big procedure??
Beautifully explained and I can't resist from subscribing your chennel
A Lot of love and respect from Pakistan
I think smart people's go for smart things but not this complicated 🙏🙏🙏
Any question from clock in formula...(11/2×M - 30×H) it is solved... The M is minute and H is hour...
Thanks bro.
The way of teaching experience
Mam this process is to lengthy please tell us in simple ways..
This video would be 100x better if, they slowed it down and broke it up. For the math illiterate the video is too fast and not explanatory of the reasons why you do certain steps. The "teacher" covers the board for most of the video....
Tq you make my problem easier

Explain it in short cut method mam. Because in competition exam time is not sufficient to solve it
Mam, you are making simple solution so complicated. By proper observation of clock you can solve such problems within 30 sec without any formula,pen and paper.
