    In this video, we'll discuss complex actions. "Complex action" isn't the official term that is used in the industry but just a term we came up with to explain the concept. So what we mean by complex actions are actions that are composed of two or more basic actions. Here, we'll break down two complex actions which are: 1. jump shot and 2. jumping spinning kick.

      haha 😄 It's actually easy to do in After Effects. You just parent it to a null and animate the position of the null. 😊

      Thanks for subbing! Glad you liked it. 😊 Our next tutorial would be about inbetweening. So it's related to timing but not timing specifically but how to do the inbetweens. We're going to post it next week. 😊

    What's your experience with Class 101? I'm looking for a platform like this, not sure which one to go for.

    • @plainlysimple
      @plainlysimple  Před 2 lety +1

      Are you looking to teach or to learn? If you're looking to learn I haven't tried class101 as a platform to learn but we were asked to make a class there so we actually have a class on Class101. We also have classes on Skillshare. What I noticed though is on Class101 it's more of long form content courses would range from 8 hours to 12 hours long, and at skillshare it's more of short form content classes range from 1 hour to 4 hours long. With Skillshare it's a subscription and it's actually the more affordable price of the both. With a monthly subscription you get access to all classes on Skillshare. With Class101 you have to pay per course. Hope this helps.

      @@plainlysimple Thanks, that's all good to know. I am making a course for someone in contemporary craft field, so looking to teaching basically.

      @plainlysimple  Před 2 lety +1

      @@ToxicMetropolis Oh, if that's the case, think of the type of content you'll do. If it's a long form or short form? If you'll do lots of mini classes (1 - 2 hours each) then skillshare might be a good option. If you're planning to create a long course like about 8 hours then class101 is more fitting I think. You also have to look at the existing user base. Skillshare is more diverse, with class101 it's more niche down to drawing. You can do a quick search on the website and see if there are a lot of classes in the craft field. This would give you an idea if the existing user base would be interested in your class.
