+Danny Giles its OK, I got the motor in and tried it on some vegetation. However I'm finding it hard to find a sweet spot for the cavitation plate. I can't get the speed you are without the prop blowing out or losing bite. Had to completely redesign the mounting bracket in order to even be able to take off. I would love to see how you have yours mounted. Thanks
i wouldn't by anything from swamp runner or mudskipper either...they are both actually business partners and the two companys in thailand are also brothers...oh and mr dobbs is a dea agent... hope your doing alright and the glowiez didn't get ya...
My kind of boating. Play all day on a gallon or two of gas with a $100 Chinese engine going places that other boats can only dream of going. Air cooled is the way to go with small boat engines, too. Why would a person want a water cooled ANYTHING under say 30 hp?

+Joseph Lavetsky it won't, but it is well balanced so carrying it to the car or truck is easy

do they make a twister for bigger engine say 13 hp or could i use this same kit? great job on the videos by the way i watch them often.
+karen Elam thanks for watching! They sell one with an upgraded Honda engine making 11hp. However the kit won't fit a larger displacement engine.
There is a 8-16hp version coming out this summer. Twister XL
How big is the boat & what speeds you getting? also is the prop stainless, aluminum or plastic? prop on website totally looks plastic!
It's a 14ft boat. I haven't clicked any speeds yet but I'm working with Mud-Skipper to perfect the performance. The prop is solid stainless
